Couldn't decide at first glance and so I stacked the lists against each other. Also couldn't decide because I have multiple favourites in multiple categories. So I went through the list and assigned points to the picks I would have made/liked the most and no points for picks I liked less. Shootist got points for Lecter, Scar and Stringer Bell. UT got points for Myers, McGavin, T-1000 and Mr. Burns. thereallt got points for White Goodman, Predator and Tywin Lannister. And the winner with a clean sweep of 5 points, Emperor. Very excellent draft gents. This was a tough one to choose.

Of villains not picked and within the rules I'd probably go with...
Horror - Leatherface Comedy - Ernie McCracken Children's - Cruella De Vil (with Shredder as a very close runner-up) Action - Darth Vader TV - Ramsay Snow or Joffrey Baratheon. I'd have to flip a coin.

I waited like 5 movies for him to show up and all he did was make threats and die. Bellatrix was a better villain than him. So was that teacher that wore pink all the time.

I just feel like there is this one TV villain that would rise above all of the rest. I hope someone picks them. I would have drafted Mr. McMahon for the TV villain. I thought about it.

I wouldn't have just thought about it. I would have done it. Seemed a little cheap in the moment given everything else going on.

I'll be honest, this is the only draft I've participated in where I wouldn't vote for my own roster. I feel like I've been outdrafted by everyone else. And that's great. It's also great that my competitors have each drafted one villain that I don't know, makes it a fairer comparison. ShootistDon't know Stringer Bell. Scar is easily the strongest pick, one I really should have taken instead of Annie Wilkes. Not too enamored by the rest of the picks. As mentioned before, Lecter is a great character but loses marks for not being in a true horror movie and my earlier comment about him being a partial antihero. Grossman is a dick and not a villain. I don't have any particular attachment to Die Hard but I know Gruber is one of the great action villains, so awesome pick. UTOf the classic horror villains I'd take Freddie Krueger above all, but Michael Myers is a very close second. The quote UT posted sums it up perfectly. He is the embodiment of pure evil. Don't know Shooter. Voldemort doesn't get top marks for me, although he is basically the reason the entire Harry Potter saga happens, he isn't really omnipresent and doesn't do all that much considering how long the story is. The main drawback with Voldemort is that the vast majority of the most evil stuff he does is off screen, or took place before the story starts. And he is often overshadowed by other villainous, less likeable characters such as Umbridge and Snape. Speaking of Snape, he's an interesting choice as a Harry Potter villain. For 90% of the series he is the main antagonist, and he has the biggest heel moment of the series by killing Dumbledore. Unfortunately the pick has a pretty huge flaw, in that he's actually a top babyface...but it is one of the great villain performances by none other than Alan Rickman. T-1000 was my top pick for action for a long time until I thought of Agent Smith, who I feel is a more layered and interesting character. T-1000 is an absolute badass though and I can't fault the pick. Mr. Burns is a really interesting pick. Feel like he works better as a comedy villain than a TV villain because although he's great for Simpsons, he does pale in comparison to the likes of Tywin and Gus. therealltBesides White Goodman, who I don't know, LT has knocked it out of the park. The perfect horror pick, the perfect children's pick, one of the top action picks. And Tywin Lannister. The problem with Game of Thrones is that there are too many great villains. I completely understand why he went for Tywin, but Joffrey and Ramsay are much more hateable sons of bitches. They are pure sadists without reason, while Tywin at least has justification for his villainous actions. Everything for the family. All of these GoT picks are 10/10 anyway. LT's roster is flawless, so my vote has to go to him.

Shootist
1.Hannibal Lecter-While I love the character, the sad fact is that Hannibal is not written very well as a villain, 2 out 3 of his films he is portrayed way too sympathetically. Most of the people he kills are complete assholes and he helps bring down not one, not two, but THREE monstrous villains in Buffalo Bill, Mason Verger, and The Tooth Fairy. Sorry but if you're not the primary villain of your own films, I'm gonna knock you major points. 6/10
2.Less Grossman-Not much of a villain not at all, just a hilarious asshole. Plus he has what? like 11 minutes of screentime? 5/10 3.Scar- This pick needs no explanation at all. 10/10 4.Hans Gruber-Would have been my #1 choice if Shootist hadn't drafted him. 10/10 5.Stringer Bell- Not a bad pick, but if I were going with The Wire, I would have picked either Cheese or Marlo. 7/10
Total Score-38 Two perfect picks and 3 iffy ones.
UT
Michael Myers- Do you seriously have to ask? 10/10 Shooter McGavin-A complete dick while being utterly hilarious at the same time.9/10 Voldemort- Solid choice, but he's kind of hurt by being the greater scope villain, which means his underlings do most of the actual evil acts on screen.8/10 T-1000- One of the most iconic action villains ever. Not as disturbing as the T-800 from the original, but that's a minor nitpick. 9/10 Mr.Burns-Mr. Burns' schemes were one of my favorite parts of the show. I get he's iconic, but I would have gone with someone a little more hateable, like Sideshow Bob. 7/10
Total score-43. No bad picks at all and 3 really good ones.
Emperor
Annie Wilkes- I don't know what UT is smoking because Annie Wilkes is an excellent choice, backed by one of the great horror performances of all time from the legendary Kathy Bates. Only slight knock against Annie is she isn't quite as iconic as others in this category. 9/10
Dr. Evil. There are 3 choices in this category that I would give a perfect score to. White Goodman, Ernie McCracken, and Dr. Evil. 10/10 Sid. Another perfect choice, especially with Sid being a child himself. 10/10 Agent Smith- Hugo Weaving was great in the role, but the lower quality of the last two films brings this down a bit. 8/10 Gus Fring-I'm not as big a mark for Breaking Bad as others on the forum, but Gus is an outstandingly written villain and is wonderfully portrayed by his actor. That is worth an 8/10 from me.
Total Score-45
Emperor gets my vote.

UT Michael Myers- Personally not one of my favorites but he is THE legendary boogeyman- 10/10 Shooter McGavin- Would have been my comedy pick as well, Christopher McDonald owned that role- 10/10 Voldemort- Not into Harry Potter at all but I guess he's a big deal- 8/10 T-1000- Robert Patrick just looks lethal in that role and gives an entirely different aesthetic to the unstoppable villain. 10/10 Mr. Burns- Was my first choice for TV as well, though he did border on being a cartoonish super-villain for a few episodes 9.5/1047.5/50therealltFreddy Krueger- My favorite slasher villain and a real scumbag when not in his supernatural form as well. 10/10 White Goodman- Never seen Dodgeball but he ranked high on a lot of lists I came across. 8/10 Agatha Trunchbull- Never seen Matilda and didn't see her high up on many lists. 7/10Predator- Intimidating and bad ass looking but more overtly sci-fi. 9/10 Tywin Lannister- Never seen a second of Game Of Thrones, I guess that makes him a big deal. 8/10
42/50
Emperor
Annie Wilkes- Awesome pick, a true nutjob. I'm looking forward to reading the book in a few weeks while on vacation. 10/10 Dr. Evil- For the most part Mike Myers can kick rocks 5/10 Sid - He's a bit of a turd. 8/10 Agent Smith- Never got into the Matrix. 7.5/10 Gus Fring- Even though I never watched Breaking Bad I still heard a lot of talk on how big of a prick this guy is. 9/10
39.5/50
UT gets the win!
