Primary scanning was done in 2019.  One of the things that sent the game over budget was having to keep scanning people as new people came in.

Also FTR said there was something about a legal issue they were told.  

Cole and Punk debuted after FTR and are in. I know they are technically bigger stars but still they are a regularly featured tag team. Seems like a massive omission.

I assume they will be free DLC down the road. 

Ruby in the game? If not may be WWE retaining rights to video games for 3 years or so post release. This way a person they scan can still be used a few years later in a finished game.

Depends if Bryan Danielson in the game. I would say Cole but nXt sometimes has different  rules for games.

The sad thing is, I'm way more inclined to see Ospreay/Omega, Rosa/Hayter, Kingston/Guevara than any other match they throw out there. I get that they can't book Omega/Ospreay because Omega is hardly in ring-shape but the others you could easily book and they'd be better than what they've gone with.

There’s enough locker room drama going on without falling for kayfabe. Ospreay and Omega have been feuding in interviews for years. This is just a continuation of that.

FTR put over Punk pretty bigtime in a recent interview on the drama.

I thought Tony did a pretty good job in his explanation. He said Rosa found out just before the show went on air and they didn’t have time to move things around to give her more time. And he’s right: an 8 minute Thunder Rosa promo would suck. She can barely talk as it is. Anyone saying otherwise is kidding themselves.

I love Thunder Rosa but she’s an awful promo and she didn’t need more time than she was given.

And Tony finally seems to be recognizing his faults with the women’s division because they had a great tag team match on Wednesday and apparently All Out will be a “reboot” of the division according to him. Hopefully that carries going forward.

Don't people say she is a great promo. I keep trying see it but never did. And while she didn't need 8 give her 3 minutes. Because she can talk just not promo.

I like Thunder Rosa but she's a really really bad promo. Talking or promoing. Hope somebody is working with her, but some people are just not natural public speakers and there's only so far you can go.

She’s even awkward as fuck on her YouTube channel. I tried watching some episodes and she somehow makes hanging out with fellow wrestlers and eating tacos super forced and weird.

It’s like the most relaxed atmosphere you could be in and she’s constantly looking at the camera and trying to force conversation.

I think Rosa is prone to choking. Sometimes she is great but sometimes it looks like she is all in her and forcing things. Would not be shocked to learn she struggles with anxiety issues outside of the ring.

Just her and Nyla was so natural, same for with Vicky, but sometimes with other people it is just weird.

The women's division is like The Real World. It needs a reset.

Can you remember anything about that era of NXT? The show lacked stars and even when they built up Rhea Ripley, they'd bring in Charlotte just to humble her for lord knows what reason. It wasn't like they didn't have the talent, the booking just left a lot to be desired.

I took it more as a pep rally for the talent that they are worthy of being a 3rd brand and I would say on a few occasions that they were treated as equals with RAW/SD such as one of the past Survivor Series.

I don't think wrestling will ever have iconic moments again ala Montreal Screwjob or Hogan slamming Andre the Giant. It's more so for shock value and for the short term if anything, there's nothing that AEW has done that has stuck with common viewers for the long haul either. I just think that is the general wrestling fan today with social media and everything. For women matches, Bayley/Sasha Banks at the Brooklyn takeover years ago has a lot of standing as one of the best women matches of the modern era. 

NXT was branded as the alternative to main roster with the Indy darlings getting actual love instead of being enhancement, with young blood like Velveteen Dream, Rhea Ripley(Over from NXT UK), Bayley, Sasha Banks etc. getting mixed right in there as well. That's why it never got big numbers but the core fanbase loved the shows. 2.0 is still very good, people just don't give it a chance because A) Too much wrestling weekly(Which I respect) B) It was deemed a Vince/Bruce Pritchard project which turns off the smarks C) A lot of the talent are learning on the ropes AKA which is College Football or Basketball which are both fantastic.


I get Jericho needing to be Team AEW but he comes across as an asshole by deeming the hard work and time put by so many to "suck". Seems like pure gatekeeping, it's embarrassing. What makes AEW Dark or Elevation that much better? 

I am sure Jericho didn't like when Seabastian Bach or any other decades long metal performer got upset at Fozzy/Jericho because that is also gatekeeping but I guess when the egg is on the other side, all is good. 

Honestly, HHH and Jericho both came off super petty here. They been in the biz too long to act like marks.

NXT 2.0 is watched. That's the insane thing.

There's a perception, it's an absolute failure in the scheme of things, but it's not.

Without turning it into a ratings debate, last week it pulled 676,000 viewers. Rampage did 431,000. And Dynamite (900k-1m) is closer to NXT in ratings than it is to a Raw or Smackdown number.

I don't know what sort of poison toad is being licked in the AEW office for these guys to continue to speak out of turn, but their B-Show is getting it's ass kicked by developmental territory.

Jericho probably needs to lay off the marching powder before he burns the bridge back to WWE. Because in about 5 years time, he'll be campaigning for a HOF induction and a 60 minute Undertaker ted talk that may never come.

Not only is 2.0 watched, it seems people were very happy with it. I did not watch it, but IMO the 2.0 fans were more loyal than the 1.0 fans.

And yeah AEW needs to play it careful, as unlike WWE they have no real system in place to max salaries, and HHH is gonna run up the costs to retain people very fast. Khan may have cash, but HHH has revenue to hire people with, and systematic caps to keep costs relatively low overall.

2.0. fans are a little annoying but tame compared to the 1.0. truthers.

Bron, Toxic Attraction, Mandy gets a second nod for her career revival, Solo, Hayes, The Creeds, Waller, KC, Jade, Lyons, Chase U, etc.

To me, this is the " new generation " era, it's bright, it's colourful, it's perhaps even even gimmicky but for now, it works.

The only gripe I have, is the production. Too much neon/pastel and that fake crowd graphic is cringe.
