AEW talent at the Hammerstein show tonight: Ruby Soho, Jon Moxley &…Thunder Rosa.

An article dropped today about Rosa screaming at talent at a recent Dark show.

Can’t really defend this woman anymore. Sounds like the shoe finally dropped and all the recent reports about her behaviour has triggered everyone else to step up and out her.

If Rosa ever returns bet against her in her title rematch with whoever is interim women’s champ. Easiest money you’ll ever make.

There was a joke on some of the socials I follow that Cody likely begun most conversations with introducing himself as " Hi, I'm the Son of Dusty Rhodes... Cody. "

But you're right: he walked into wrestling on his father's name and likely came up way too early to the main roster on a legacy handout. Then " bet on himself " by leaving WWE, knowing damn well he had the family inherentance to keep him comfortable, then latched onto the hottest thing in the business, and then used that to pull a monumental return to the WWE.

He's the ultimate opportunist. You don't know whether to hate him or applaud his cunning.

She lost her way with the fame and higher exposure. I think there were signs of this in Lucha Underground according to some but the 1st sign of something was the Ivelisse Velez match. I think that was chalked up due to Velez prior history so Rosa got a mulligan there but man everything has just gone downhill.

It's crazy too because she has a wrestling school of her own and had some of her pupils on AEW TV like Madi IIRC. Amazing that she would talk down and wrestle down to less proven talents the way she has. 

Ivelisse was right.

Also, FTR are out of Fight Forever much to the frustration of, well.. FTR. They'll be DLC.

Imagine being in the company for two years and having all these million star matches only to find out you're probably not gonna be in the video game (so you won't be getting all those royalty payments!) - but Paul Wight (who's had a total of FOUR matches in AEW) is in it!

Honestly, it's pretty wild that Abadon, Yuka Sakazaki and Owen Hart are all in over FTR.

They need to add all the women they can to pad out the woman roster. Shame about FTR because No Mercy had the best way to do the 3D were you irish whip then do it on the rebound. And that probably would have been perfect for the Big Rig.

With tag team supposedly be a focus of AEW, you would think one of the top tag would have some priority. I first heard they were probably dlc but either one of two things happened. There isn't planned DLC for them or DLC wrestlers profits from the game is different from people in the main game.

So FTR were asked about it and according to them it was just a communication issue and they are fine with what happened.

-found out in March before the Briscoes match
-asked Tony about it and they talked
-they got an answer they were happy with and it isn’t a problem

Sounds like they were pulled to pump up some DLC packages or something. I’m less upset now.

They are the IWGP Tag Team Champions and I doubt NJPW would be too happy having their champions on an AEW game without their permission.

Communication issue seems to be a theme with AEW OFFICE.

I'd imagine "sorting it out" means both guys are driving home in new trucks.

But wasn't there talk of their contracts expiring this year, so potentially AEW decided to exclude FTR thinking they may not be around anyway for the launch.

They'll be able to buy as many trucks as they want with their 2K23 royalty payments!

Oh that’s a good point. I could totally see that being the hangup. When they lose the titles they’ll get added in an update or something.

I'll admit most of my NJPW watching begins and ends with Wrestle Kingdom, unless they were doing a show with ROH, or I guess now AEW.

Primary scanning was done in 2019.  One of the things that sent the game over budget was having to keep scanning people as new people came in.

Also FTR said there was something about a legal issue they were told.
