Mox vs Gage confirmed for Oct.  Will be title vs career.  If Gage loses he retires.  This is my birthday weekend and it is in AC so really considering attending.  Assume this will be Mox going all out before he takes another break from deathmatches.  

Dude I'm imagining a fans bring the weapons matches, only it post covid so there's like dirty masks and shit. Way worse than stepping on a lego or landing on a cinderblock wrong.

Security always filters through the weapons. Ironically what triggered this was fans bringing in bats wrapped in like wild thorns and guys having reactions to it.

Don't need inferno, surround the ring in poison ivy.

Really would like to see the return of Marko Stunt, maybe have him get some revenge on the CM Punk of GCW, Effy.

I feel like GCW is trying to re-live the 1990's in what it is doing. Not sure if it will work but credit to them for trying. It's the attitude era+ECW all in one.

Wow what a fucking crazy finish.  Also for people not paying attention, Masha beat Gage and is now the champ.  Another fed putting a girl as the top champ.

Besides the Lucha-related stuff, Nick Gage & Los Macizos, I'm not that into GCW most of the time.

I am loving Maki Death Kill. Gage and Maki are so fun together.

Bloodsport was tonight and had some really fun stuff. For those who not seen this, gimmick for the show is no ropes, no turnbuckles and matches can only be won via submission or knockout/ref stoppage and it is a Japanese style worked MMA show.

Marina Shafir vs. Killer Kelly was a fun match with Shafir looking amazing. Jon Moxley vs. Alex Coughlin, was Moxley doing Moxley. Main event was Josh Barnett vs. Timothy Thatcher, which was pretty good.

Match of the night though was Kota Ibushi vs. Mike Bailey. End was absolutely sick. I will link it. But Bailey hits a moonsault double knee into an armbar but Ibushi gets out, they trade a few months, then Ibushi hits a regalplex into a Kamigoye/v-trigger for the win.

This style does not work all the time, but for a once a year event, it is a ton of fun.

Did Moxley bleed?

Ibushi's wrestling again, interesting. I think it's confirmed he won't be in NJPW again, those bridges are burned, but he's free to work elsewhere. Wonder if this his return match?

He is working two matches this weekend. He will wrestle Janella tomorrow at Spring Break as well. These were his return matches and first matches in the US in 4 years.

Rumors are Tony Khan is working extremely hard this weekend to lock him down for appearances. Ibushi said yesterday he hurt his shoulder before this weekend though doing MMA training, so who knows what is up with him.

Ibushi uploaded a cam of his match.  Matches in this format tend to be short to mimic real fights.  This is not the official video, just a video his team made themselves.

Holy shit, Allison Danger vs Billy Starkz next week in GCW. Danger's first singles match in a decade since she was forced to retire. Only second match since then, as she did wrestle with her nephew last year in a mixed tag.

Real shock here. I thought after the stroke and the lesions were found in her brain she would never, ever, wrestle again.

I was looking forward to watching Allison Danger vs Billie Starkz. Sucks the match didn't happen.
