So AEW Dynamite will be airing on a special night, that night, of course, being tomorrow (October 18th, 2022), I figured now was as good a time as any, to get the thread up so people don't forget. The card so far is looking pretty stacked, with four different title matches taking place, including two for world championships.

I just got to say, I'm really digging Chris Jericho's current story arc, with him looking to beat former Ring of Honor world champions. As much as I feel they could do more with the Ring of Honor brand (RT touched on it in another thread), I have no complaints about this particular storyline.

I totally missed why Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida are fighting. They just teamed together last week. Storm is giving her a shot out of respect or what? Either way I figure Britt & co. get involved then Saraya shows up and they start to set up Saraya vs. Britt for Full Gear.

I can't see Moxley losing tomorrow and I'm curious what they do heading into Full Gear. Maybe MJF "cashes in" tonight, pinning Moxley in his hometown? Or maybe he announces he'll face whoever wins tonight at Full Gear, then that person gets destroyed by The Firm to close the show? I dunno. As much as AEW always delivers at PPVs, it's getting a little tiresome that title matches feel thrown together. I guess we got spoiled with Hangman vs Omega and now anything short of that feels rushed. :lol:

I guess PAC gets his win back tonight because I can't see OC & Best Friends taking all the gold off these guys so quickly.

Ugh, feels like we're about to get 4 title defences right before a PPV but whatever. I guess that's not really a bad thing.

Pretty cold on this show. Moxley vs Hangman will be cool. The rest...eh.

The promo Dalton Castle cut on Jericho on Rampage was kinda shit. I get his character is a goofy campy guy, but it's a very hard character to buy into. Also wasn't Dalton Castle's time like 5-10 years ago? What's he done since then? I don't care.

Not sure there's a wrestler I care less about than Toni Storm.

Game 5 of the ALDS may put an damper on Dynamite tomorrow.

The game is scheduled for 4:07 ET. But knowing that postseason baseball is notoriously slow-played, and even more so when the Yankees are playing, there might be a better-than-not chance that Dynamite will be delayed.

I love how they even put the show on a special night to avoid baseball and the rain gods made sure to fuck them over anyway.

I just saw that NXT also pulled out some big guns tonight. AJ Styles/Good Brothers, Rhea Ripley and Kevin Owens will all be on the show tonight.

Between the Yankees game likely going late and NXT deciding to fuck with AEW, this could be a huge night for them. Do they keep the audience they normally get or is this going to be an astronomical dip?

I dunno, NXT putting on the Good Brothers seems like they are encouraging fans to watch AEW. Promoting healthy competition.

Honestly, AEW is looking more appealing each week when I look at all these clowns HHH keeps bringing back!

I’m less thinking of NXT beating Dynamite and more thinking about the internet losing their shit if Dynamite only posts like a 750k or something.

Holy shit that segment was amazing. Regal is the perfect foil for MJF and this feud is gonna be fucking great.

Would not be shocked if Regal does wrestle him.  MJF is the exact sort of guy that Regal would fight personally.  

Looks like Jericho vs. Jerry Lynn will be next on the list.
