Who opened ALL IN and who closed it? Point being, they don't need him. Maybe a few years ago to pop the ratings and generate some buzz.. sure. But not in 2023.

Apparently AEW failed to provide Punk transport to his hotel.
Guess who the Travel Coordinator is good friends with? Also judging by their Twitter activity, they're not exactly fans of Punk either...

People are reminiscing on different socials about the time Punk laid in the middle of the ring after a cage match until the crowd went home.
Except, people aren't looking at it fondly anymore. More so, Punk being an egotistical prick having been told to sell, and then, well.... selling.
I'm sure he smugly snickered to himself as he walked into an empty locker-room an hour later.

Poor Punk. The King should have been there to greet him at the airport, and provide a royal escort for him. Instead he had to mingle with the peasants.
You know, I bet the manager of talent relations could have resolved this with a simple phone call. Or any of the talent relation guys. Sure the EVPs as well. Maybe like fighting with entire layers of fucking management has drawbacks.

While I dislike him now, Punk during the OG summer of Punk earned his reputation. At that time, he was truly the best in the world. That was also 18 years ago now. His WWE stuff just reused the best of the the RoH, including the pipebomb promo, that was just the snake in the grass promo reworked. And that was just various IWA promos stitched together. My fav Punk story is when he went to CZW after the Hero feud. He fought Pain and Zandig said he thought the match sucked. Was ultimately what lead Punk to go to CZW instead. Frankly what is up now is a pattern that goes back to 2001 with Punk quitting feds because he had problems. He quit IWA-MS. He quit TNA. He quit WWE. He quit CZW and Chikara. Many forget Punk main evented the first Chikara show. He left Chicago over problems there and stopped working the enter region for a while. He had issues with Super Dragon in PWG. This is Punk.

Strawman aside, that's still pretty lousy and unprofessional and really goes to show the company has learned little from the Lufisto situation.
Again, jobs for the boys who can't do their role properly.

If Punk did not start fights with the EVPs, then insist on not working with the agents this could have been solved. It is his own damn fault he has no one to solve problems. He think he is the boss of Collision he can figure this shit out on his own.
Good to see everything that goes wrong with him still gets blamed on the Bucks. Larry shits in the house I bet he blames the Bucks for i t.

Khan has to let people try and get refunds for these Chicago shows because I assume a lot of those fans paid to see Punk.

My favorite part of the Punk drama is on the tube he sat in the disabled / elderly seat. Even there he has to be a dick.

Also seems the reason he lacked transportation is he came a day later than everyone else.

Considering the person in charge failed to keep track of VISAs and embarrassed the company, I guess organising transport for the biggest star in the company (source: TK) was out of their skill-set as well.
But yeah, Christopher Daniels would have solved it, just like he solved countless other talent issues...

Likely his job was to organize transportation for Friday, when everyone else got there, not cater to Punk who demanded special treatment and came last minute.
Only one person had a problem, and it was the person who keeps having problems.
But Punk has a problem he can walk. Almost nothing will change for AEW. Tony literally losing money on him this time.

It's their full-time position, if they can't fulfill their duties then they're a liability, end of.

They can see him at one of the other 17 Chicago shows they will do between now and next summer. Fuck em. Good for Tony. Punk can walk if he wants. He got a second chance and regardless of who started the fight, the rules apply to everyone.

It's their full-time position, if they can't fulfill their duties then they're a liability, end of. And he did his job, everyone that arrived on time got transportation and people meeting them at the airport. Those that did not, had a number to text. Punk could have easily contacted an agent or EVP like everyone else would if there was a problem. If he refuses to work with his bosses, or his bosses bosses, that is on him and shit like this happens.

All the reports said Punk had a number to text when he got to London. If the number did work he should have contacted someone to get the right number.
Also would not be shocked if this was user error and not entering the country code since he was calling from US number.
Eitherway one call should have resolved but Punk decided to take the tube instead of contacting people in AEW, then leaked this to the dirtsheets.

Because the transport that was supposed to be there wasn't there? So the 'stand in Buck' failed to do their job.

Because rather than call anyone else he decided he did not need AEW transportation obviously.
But hey, if AEW is so awful, he can just not return. That would make everyone happy anyway. He can go work Impact.

Do you know for sure he didn't try and contact anyone else? It seems odd that the biggest star was arriving on Saturday morning and nobody was at the airport to meet them, almost like it was somebody's responsibility to ensure ALL the talent was meant to get to their hotels.
A guy can have a valid issue and still be an asshole. I do find it funny though after the 'boycott' we're back to AEW can do no wrong.

I really hope transport was there waiting for him and he walked out and saw the sign and went " nah-ah! I ain't falling for this! " sensing it was a rib and decided to jump on the tube due to his paranoia.
---
At the centre of it all is Punk. It's been Punk since Brawl Out, likely and obviously before that.
It's at a point now, where people can't do their jobs ie; Daniels, and the people who have worked and helped build AEW can't attend a certain show on a certain day because a certain someone has issues with everyone.
Half that locker-room has a issue with Punk or visa-versa, whether it's Jack Perry this month or not, it doesn't matter, because in a few months, it will be someone else.
Someone will look at him the wrong way or whistle too loudly and Punk will be making snide remarks as he does and it will be on like Donkey Kong again.
Solution is to throw him the rest of his money, double it and move him on.

Well Punk also snapped at Miro asking if he wanted to fight outside, which explains his tweet. Guessing this was Miro's fault showing up at the show.

A guy can have a valid issue and still be an asshole. I do find it funny though after the 'boycott' we're back to AEW can do no wrong. They can do wrong, but when the wrong is all done to the same person again and again, it seems weird to claim the entire company is wrong, and only he is right. Like it is being implied here that EVERYONE in AEW left Punk at the airport and no one would communicate with him forcing him to take the train. Miro also posted a picture of a UK Taxi. He is def off Collision now. Booker said the problems Punk has now is because he demands respect instead of earning it. Booker also off Collision.
