Oh a whole lot more info leaked.
AEW approved the Jungle Boy glass angle, so Jungle Boy rented a car and planned to do the spot, then take a vacation. When Punk showed it he overruled AEW and told Perry he could not do it.
For Punk he called Emily Peirce, the actual transportation manager, and she advised him to take the train. The person everyone is trashing is not the person in charge.
Khan witnessed the whole fight. Punk started it by asking Perry if he had a problem with him, Perry said you heard what I said out there, then said he could beat his ass and pushed him. Perry pushed back, then Punk locked in the choke and it was broken up by Joe. Fight knocked the monitors over on Tony. Joe wanted the match to happen so they moved it to the first match, to get Punk out of there early. Golden Elite was on tap if the Punk match needed to be cancelled. Bucks were asked first but they were still working with FTR. Punk said he was good and went out and Perry was sent home.
Punk said no one told him he was suspended, and does not believe he will be suspended. AEW contacted his lawyer and said he was suspended indefinitely. Again AEW cannot contact him and most communication is through his lawyer these days.
The pro-Punk side here claims everyone in the company is after Punk and Tony needs to do more to keep Punk away from them.
Brody King may have broken him hand as be punched a locker after hearing about the fight.
Calling it now, AEW gonna hard split the roster front and back into a Punk run fed and AEW.

Based on Joe's latest tweet about how some people are only your friend when they need something he is also banned from Collision.
Reported Joe was furious Punk started a fight and nearly cost him his match at the show.

c I don’t know if you are getting your information elsewhere, but I assume you are copying the Bryan Alvarez thread that was just put on wreddit. And if so, you are editing some key details for reasons I have to assume do with your hatred of CM Punk. Most of what you said is correct but stuff like the transportation mix up, the fight being moved (it was always booked first), Punk not thinking he will be suspended, etc, aren’t anywhere in here. I’m stepping out of here unless something big drops because I’m getting way too hung up on this bullshit. If you guys want to keep having a “we hate Punk” circlejerk I won’t stop you, but we don’t need to twist reports that have already been twisted a number of times. The summary of Alvarez’s comments are here (spoiler tags because it is long): WOL: Bryan Alvarez with new information and a breakdown of the CM Punk/Jack Perry situation
This is a recap of what was said on Wrestling Observer Live. Credit to [Trevor Dame]() for the recap.
WOL Link: [https://www.f4wonline.com/podcasts/wrestling-observer-live/wrestling-observer-live-cm-punk-vs-jack-perry-all-in-attendance-weekend-details](https://www.f4wonline.com/podcasts/wrestling-observer-live/wrestling-observer-live-cm-punk-vs-jack-perry-all-in-attendance-weekend-details)
* Bryan (Alvarez) woke up today to find out he got COVID on the UK trip. TRAVELERS BEWARE. (He feels fine.) * Bryan says he has talked to no fewer than a dozen people about all the stuff. Prefacing things by some of this stuff he's been given two versions of, in which case he'll try to give both versions. * Bryan talking about how the original "Punk bars Perry from using broken glass" story came out weeks after it happened, it was already well known by folks internally by then. * Bryan agrees with Punk that people should not in fact go through broken glass. Remembers when Goldberg hurt himself with glass. "Glass is not a good worker." * Jungle Boy had a planned vacation. His side's story was that he was approved by AEW on Dynamite to go rent the car and shoot the glass breaking injury angle on Collision, and when he got to Collision, Punk told him no. * Bryan says he didn't hear this from Jungle Boy, but his side is that he got the glass spot cleared by AEW and then Punk tells him no the day of the show, and his side thinks Punk did that because he's friends with the Young Bucks. (Obviously Punk's side is he's trying to protect people from using broken glass.) * On the Punk travel story, Bryan confirms that no one was there to pick him up from the UK airport, he had to take a train and get fans to direct him to Wembley. * Bryan has heard 2 stories. In one side Punk couldn't get ahold of anyone from AEW once he was stranded at the airport. The other side says he did get in touch with people and was given options, and he took the train. * Bryan was told Perry walked back after the All In match, as he walked by Punk, Punk said "Do you have a problem with me?" and Perry replied that well, you heard what I said out there. * Bryan says there was a lot of witnesses to the Punk/Perry fight at Gorilla including TONY KHAN * Punk apparently then said "You know I could beat your ass?", then Punk shoved him and put him in the choke and it was broken up immediately. * Bryan says the fight was close enough to Tony Khan in Gorilla that MONITORS FELL ON TONY. Lots of witnesses. Joe broke the fight up. * Punk was immediately angry, threatened to quit, did not want to wrestle. Bryan was told things were delayed ten minutes because of this. * FTR and the Bucks were asked if they could open the show and they said they weren't ready, so they asked the Golden Elite six man if they could and they said they guess they could. * Joe was pissed because he wanted to wrestle at Wembley so they got things together and we got the Punk/Joe match first, as we saw. * Bryan talking about how Miro tweeted that the story of Perry initiating physical contact with Punk was BS and now today tweeting "Nice UK cab" which Bryan says is an obvious shot at Punk. * Bryan says there was apparently a SECOND NEAR INCIDENT when Punk came back through the current where Miro confronted Punk and asked him about what happened with Perry, and Punk asked him if he had a problem with him now and if he wanted to step outside. JESUS CHRIST. * Bryan wants people to note that Punk did not say "I'm not suspended" he said no one had contacted him about a suspension. That's two different things. From the WBD side, Bryan was told the Punk match was off All Out. (Bryan was then later told they were suspended and there's now an investigation.) * Bryan does a "Anything is possible" but his gut is this isn't going to get wrapped up in time for All Out and they'll be off of it. Referencing how long the Elite/Punk investigation and Elite absence was. * Bryan also referencing how the Elite were kept in the dark on a lot of stuff during their suspension, so basically suggesting that if Punk was also being kept fairly in the dark, that wouldn't be out of the norm for AEW. * Bryan does not know what this all means. The anti-Punk side says you can't go after someone physically because they say something you don't like. The pro-Punk side says everyone is after him. * Bryan asked a bunch of the people he talked to if they thought Punk was coming back after this. Most said "Of course he's coming back" but a handful think he's done. * Bryan says the Punk situation put a damper on the whole All In show for "A lot" of the talent. Bryan says a friend of Punk's got so mad he punched a wall and broke his hand. (Trevor knows the rumor is this person is Brody King but he wants to note Bryan did not name him and clearly did not want to put a name to who did it, for whatever reason. Wade Keller on Torch audio said Brody King punched something in frustration. So unless this is the unlikely event of MULTIPLE PUNK FRIENDS PUNCHING WALLS/LOCKERS that night, Trevor assumes the stories are referencing the same person.) * Bryan says "Morale is down" and people were saying, wait for it, "Something has to be done." How many times has that been said this year. * To people who think people are overreacting to the down vibes about this situation, Bryan points out Tony pointed out at the All In presser how badly they fell after last year's All Out. (To be fair, Tony was also referencing injuries to Punk and guys like Cole/Danielson.) * (Update: [Nick Hausman says he's being told the near incident with Miro is not true.]()) * Trevor Edit: "Also just to be clear, Bryan's story about a Miro/Punk confrontation came after Punk came through the curtain, not "current" as I typoed. As in, after Punk came backstage after his match with Joe. Punk/Perry before the match, Punk/Miro after."

Summed like four different threads posted elsewhere. Other shit should be on reddit from other people. The Emilie story broke before the dogpile on the Buck's friend, and him claiming he was not suspended was on NoDQ based on a comment he made to someone outside of the arena on his way out. Forget which person he told. But it makes sense as he was not told, his lawyer was because he cannot be directly told this by anyone but Tony.
Stuff I seen about the match being moved could have mixed the card was moving all day. Seems the opening matches were being swapped around a bit. Or that was a SRS source and I missed it.
But like a Punk story comes every 20 minutes today. We all know AEW guys are gossipy sonsabitches. This should be expected.

He been shit posting stuff for two days now. He said Perry starting the fight was absolutely not true, and then posted a UK Taxi on twitter. Needling someone like self-destructing about this is pretty fucked up if you support them.
One thing everyone seems to be forgetting is this was not an AEW event, it was WBD show. Tony's hand may be tied if the network gets involved as this was a key event in their summer celebration.

Torch is reporting the AEW is negotiating their TV deal, which prior reports said would push against for streaming. Torch also is reporting since Tony now saw the problems with Punk first hand, he may be forced to action. But removing Punk may hurt negotiations.
Seems like WBD will be the decider. If Punk is needed Collision will become his saw, and they will likely move to seperate PPVs to separate factions entirely. Not too hard to do when the rosters are split already. If they say Punk is not needed, it sounds like Tony may be prepared to cut him. Will piss of a handful of people, but it is not feasible to keep pushing AEW into a split brand for just one guy.
And with a road rage charge coming from Cash, and almost certainly a plea to a lesser charge without a mandatory min, team Punk not in a good place.

Do you know for sure he didn't try and contact anyone else? It seems odd that the biggest star was arriving on Saturday morning and nobody was at the airport to meet them, almost like it was somebody's responsibility to ensure ALL the talent was meant to get to their hotels. A guy can have a valid issue and still be an asshole. I do find it funny though after the 'boycott' we're back to AEW can do no wrong. They can do wrong, but when the wrong is all done to the same person again and again, it seems weird to claim the entire company is wrong, and only he is right. Like it is being implied here that EVERYONE in AEW left Punk at the airport and no one would communicate with him forcing him to take the train. Miro also posted a picture of a UK Taxi. He is def off Collision now. Booker said the problems Punk has now is because he demands respect instead of earning it. Booker also off Collision. Similarly, when everyone can see the same group is causing problems for the same person, but they keep overlooking the problems, and blame the one who is having problems, it starts to look like the school faculty siding with the bully instead of the kid that retaliated for getting picked on.🤷 I wouldn't expect anything other from the AEW apologists...

The winner in all of this is the women's locker room who came under fire a few weeks ago that can not slide nicely behind the scenes while the men get exposed for their cattiness.
Especially Britt Baker, she isn't a title holder AND she can just hang around and not cause any trouble.

How many more people need to be removed from Collision for Punk to have his safe space? Tony cannot hire a second crew just for one man despite that is what it is basically being demanded now. The amount of people that want to work with Punk are barely enough to even fill a roster now you may need to move Miro, Joe, Perry and others off the show.

It’s a roster full of talented women and the only spot they had on the Wembley show was a throwaway fatal four way match.

If they are not giving them two matches, why not let Statlander fight on the preshow? But had to pack the show, so as always, first thing cut are the girls. At least it was four of them and not just Britt and Jamie which was the original plan. Two girls plus Julia and the rest guys. DP really should brought in to run the division. Or Danger. Both are proven. And almost the entire roster already worked for them before.

Will post this as is: Guess there is only one option left, Tony Khan needs to be fired. Tony Khan banned from Collision. Edit: Also in that PWTorch stuff was reported no one was picked at the airport and everyone was expected to find their own local transportation from the airport to hotel, and hotel to arena as is normal for AEW. Punk assumed Tony would provide transportation as WWE provided transport on overseas trips. Wade also notes that if you rewatch the match, Punk says goodbye to the fans. Wade is reporting the fight between Punk and Tony took place before Perry came back, and was over him being stranded at the airport. Then Punk unleashed on Perry. www.pwtorch.com/site/2023/08/29/exclusive-punk-khan-relationship-might-be-on-brink-of-being-beyond-repair-after-punk-blew-up-at-tk-before-his-match-sources-say/So guessing it does come to this, Tony must leave AEW. Only solution as clearly he was in the wrong not providing Punk a car and arguing with him.

Also if Kellar is right, and the company was not doing cars at the airport for talent, people are dogpiling and sending death threats to that travel coordinator for something he was not even supposed to do. Way to go IWC.
People also dogpiling Tony over Punk.
Twitter is unhinged, demanding The Elite all be fired, Perry be fired, journalists sued and other site.
Also saw a great line tonight, Toni Storm's character is CM Punk backstage.

It says a lot about the company when all of the stuff going on backstage is more entertaining than anything they do in the ring.😂
One day, we'll be getting a "Rise and Fall of AEW" documentary on Peacock.

Ok, I have a solution. He doesn't have a problem with Adam Cole, so drop the belt to him and set up Cole v MJF for the Undisputed AEW Championship.
Joe attacks Punk, and you tell Punk that he needs to sell it big time. Like stay home for 6 weeks, hell.. take 6 months to sell it.

CM Punk all time bad locker room guy, HOWEVER, the timeline of not getting picked up at the airport, showing up late at the event and immediately yelling at the owner of the company who worships you, then taking it out on Luke Perry's son by choking him out in front of everyone, is objectively funny in a way that only total assholes can summon. Would absolutely never want to work with him in any capacity, he should probably never wrestle again, but this is funny stuff.

Punk merch not sold at tonight's show. In Chicago. That is not a good sign at all. Suspended or not Tony is willing to leave money on the table to get distanced. Will have to see if he sells it at Collision.
