Andrew Zarian reports the new show is AEW Collision. It will be a 2 hour show that will premiere in June. CM Punk is expected to return on the premiere episode and it will be announced prior.

Deadspin tweeted an article saying "CM Punk is gaslighting AEW" - Brandon Cutler shared it and commented "Someone gets it". Then he deleted it, just to make me look silly on PW dot com. More silly then usual, anyway.

Then Tay Conti or Melon or Guava or whatever she's called now coincidentally posted her "gaslighting" meme and went absolutely bonkers when someone understandably thought it was connected to Punk/Cutler/etc.

The QT Marshall "like" wasn't relevant to it, but it carried on maiden's point about the AEW roster being pro clowns on social media.

Def can see where the roster is starting to get upset. FTR and Punk been on a media blitz that Punk should come back and making it seem like he is a victim of bullying or something. The scrum and brawl, both things he started, being entirely forgotten.

Now the roster likely getting split so there is a place for Punk, and everyone that Punk dislikes can be put on another show. Then in a year, Brawl Out 2 when the dirt sheets are not sucking Punk's dick.

And this was the exact same type of stuff that Punk went nuclear about during Brawl Out. Buys talking to the reporters.

And was not one report, everyone was reporting on this with different details. It was Punk's supporters, or himself, reaching out to whoever would print stuff.

It's nothing like Brawl Out. AEW is launching a new show and they're promising the return of Punk - that's a story that would be coming from multiple sources. The Brawl Out involved the locker room making up a story that Punk got Cabana fired from his job, taking that to TV and then doubling down on it in the press.

Because you're throwing away a lot of money and the situation is not black and white.

This is a business about selling conflict. There is no bigger conflict that has as much interest as this.

It's a business pal. Maybe one day unicef will get into the sports entertainment game, but until then you gotta deal with the carnies.

Yup, 4 tv shows, 1 quarterly tv show, 2 youtube shows and RoH on the honor club.

Youtube shows are basically dark matches though. And RoH tapes a month at a time. Assume Rampage gets taped before or after Dynamite and the Darks before the Punk show in the future. Two rosters means two touring brands.

Jericho is such a pro. He knows how much money there is to be made here and seems to be the only adult in the room right now.

Will be very interesting to see how distanced Punk is from The Elite/Dynamite and if it will be a permanent thing or just for a few months while the heat subsides and Punk can prove to be a team player again.

Also interesting timing with Jericho & Cole just starting a programme together. If we are a month out from Punk returning that could tie in somehow

I know Punk comes with a lot of drama, but as a performer I like the guy, so I'm happy to see him back.

Can't wait for Punk and Jericho firing live rounds with their super meta worked shoot promos.
