Wonder if Vince was the one who made the call to send him home, since he revised Raw and was touching in from home. You damn well know when Punk appeared someone called him. Head of security they are reporting was who asked him to leave. So orders likely came from above HHH or HHH would have just told him he cannot he there.

Where's this story coming from?
And Vince was probably like " we ain't giving you shit to wave in Tony’s face... go home. "
Which is the smartest thing to do.
And Miz? Doesn't he hate Miz?

There is footage of Punk in the parking lot with Tamina. After that stories everyone is getting is his talked with HHH and Miz and was asked to leave.
He trashed Miz repeatedly on Twitter but years have passed.

I am surprised he went to speak with Miz but I guess both are guys in or near their 40's so might as well let bygones be bygones. Miz has put in almost 20 years into the business at this point so regardless of where he came from, he is a veteran and has a really good reputation behind him.
I assume Punk didn't get to speak with Owens or Rollins, guys who there may still be animosity over. Same with Reigns. Punk really dislikes The Shield members and vice versa. Owens is more Team Bucks more than anything but he and Punk had 1-2 issues back in ROH.
AJ Styles isn't backstage IIRC, he's probably the guy Punk hates the most(and vice versa). Punk should have gone to clear the air with him of all people. Said a lot of terrible shit including implying Styles is a racist because he didn't declare Black Lives Matter back in 2020. Styles barely if at all has any enemies in the industry much like Miz, just scummy shit to say on someone with 20+ years of high level work.

After Blindy summary, Punk was probably asked to leave for his own welfare. KO and Rollins I'd imagine are held in high regards backstage. Styles the same, but noticeable absent. And The Bloodline runs deep. This isn't where the little boys play either..

Almost certainly he was asked to leave because it may have spurred legal issues with TK. If TK was not such a dick about WWE, this would be a non-story. So odd he worked with sports players and does not realize that this is the same world, and sometimes you get some people and sometimes you give up some people. Fuck he was the numbers that should have informed who they got and who they fired. From all I seen he is asshurt about Cody and psychotically paranoid about wrestlers being in contact with WWE.
No one gonna risk their career brawling with a non-WWE guy at a WWE event. That is all that needs to make news, two rival wrestlers battle for real backstage. Also all of the classic fights Punk started, which he would be an idiot to do at a WWE event.

Buddy Murphy was on screen at the HOF, I'm sure nothing came of that, despite TK's delusions WWE is messing with him.

Black was too. Both were there as husband / boyfriend though so be a weird flex for Tony to get involved there. Tony does not own what they do on their own time, out of character.

It is, or at one point, it was considered a breech of some unwritten law. Jericho spoke about it, being under contract with WCW, and being invited to meet with Vince and his Generals.
Considering the situation, it is somewhat disrespectful. Punks basically doing it to make waves, to get people talking... and will likely pretend he was "visiting friends" but friends eat, and you can catch up with them then.

I like that Miz and Punk talking has been described as ‘clearing the air’ as if there’s bitterness from both sides, when in reality Punk was a dick to Miz out of nothing but pure jealousy, and Miz went on with his life.
My sense is Vince fears legal repercussions and booted him out.

Yeah more details coming out. Punk was on a plane home from Tampa with a WWE producer and some of the guys which is why he ended up going to the taping. He went to HHH when he got there to ask if he could be there, and HHH called Vince. While he waited he apologized to the Miz and talked with those who passed by that said hi. After about 20 minutes he was told that it was a no go, and he said he his goodbyes and left.
Believed the issue was not even AEW, but the past legal history between Punk and WWE, since Punk did sue them in the past, and with the merge, they wanted to avoid any risk of liability.
People also are saying that AEW workers are not an uncommon site in WWE due to dating and what not. Everyone knows if you are at a show you do not work for though to keep a low profile. Guess Black, Murphy, Andrade and others are not uncommon sights in WWE though. Likely their other halves are backstage at AEW shows as well. Punk though being a drama magnet was a concern since he can be unpredictable.

" Oh hi there, I'm CM Punk. You might remember me from when I was backstage at WWE RAW, or maybe that time I was backstage at Impact Wrestling... all in the same week. Instead of AEW. Yeap, that's me, not giving a fuck. "

Punk: I'm in a place the Bucks will never find me - I'm at Impact.
Tony Khan: Say what?!
Punk: I'm at Impact, I talked to the booker and guess what? I'm getting ready to play some unoooooo.

So I never heard about this story between Punk and Alvarez before. Holy shit, I would hold a lifelong grudge over that shit too. The insinuation that he’s a predator and choice of the word ‘girls’ is fucking awful.

Alvarez is awful. But what do you expect as a professional shit talker.
Every 2 minute snippet I've seen of this guy in recent memory is him sooking about something he said to piss someone off or " I'm not talking about it anymore " type stuff when he's called out.

Dave as well trying to say he never reported a TV rights deal was coming when the article is literally up on his website. Rough day for the ol’ newsletter. I bet Sapp can’t believe his luck.

Meltzer is even trying to back track on twitter by saying that the announcement of a new show was what he meant. None of these guys can ever admit when they were wrong and it's infuriating. This is why you don't report on shit until you have some kind of proof in your hands, not just what fucking Dax Harwood told you over the phone a month ago.
Sounding like it is true about Punk being pulled from the announcement though. That would probably explain why he decided to grab everyone's attention on instagram yesterday. I still can't believe this dude might actually walk over Ace fucking Steel WHO STILL HAS A JOB AND JUST CAN'T GO TO EVERY SHOW. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

The Punk-Alvarez thing is wild. I thought it had to do with the Steel report but looking into it, it seems like Punk still has a copy of a forwarded email sent to a mutual friend presumably from years ago. It's the type of thing that you'd forgive but never forget and the moment they fall out of line it would naturally resurface. Honestly I thought Bix had pulled another Kendrick where he decided to throw a cat amongst the pidgeons, but if anything he was dragged into it. That's probably the biggest shocker in all of this because he has no love lost for either guy. He's squarely in Team Cabana and he had a bitter falling out with Alvarez over F4D.
I doubt Punk walks over this, but if he can pressure Khan into bringing Steel back he'll make life difficult. It's amazing what happens when you give somebody a bit of power.
All we need is that prophetic HHH promo.

Punk is in a powerful position. He knows they won’t fire him because that would allow him to walk out the following night on SmackDown. So either they pay him to sit at home, or they bend to his will. He knows this, he’s not stupid. Tony will think twice about getting into bed with this sort of personality again.

Him being backstage in WWE a few weeks ago was admittedly a brilliant move. Probably had Tony Khan shook a little bit.

Reports are they rehired Ace as creative several months back and just like did not tell anyone. And well, Ace did not do anything. But the deal was from the start, Ace could not appear backstage.
Punk now wants Ace as an agent and producer as a condition of his return. And looks like Tony will grant it to him, issue seemed to be in the legal agreement between Punk and Tony's lawyers.
Guessing Collision gonna be an interesting show, as a lot of the guys do not want to work with Punk and will refuse to work for Ace.
Give it a year before Punk is fired or quits again.

Oh god, forgot about the Die Hard rib from this, where Punk climbs up into the ceiling in his room, and crawls over the room next to him where the guys are drinking and dumps water onto them.
Also forgot about Ace getting arrested for being drunk at a casino and destroying all of the outdoor lawn decorations.

For those who do like Punk, that shoot is amazing as it is like the story of Punk until right before the Joe / Punk feud. Amazing stories on what wrestling was like in the indys in 2000-2002.
Interesting we talked about this DVD on the old forums and no one saw any red flags. Meanwhile, throughout, Punk is saying he is too cocky for his own good and how he did shows and just did whatever he wanted.
