Despite not drinking alcohol. I knocked back at least 8 Coronas tonight at a wedding and don't feel a thing. Corona sucks. It's the spanish word for PISS IMO. Dos Equis is the gold standard for Mexican beer.

My first few years of beer drinking was the piss water type. Called lager in the UK, essentially our equivalent of Coors Light or Australian Foster's (which is popular here too). I'm talking about Carlsberg, Carling, Heineken. Piss Water. I liked this beer for a long time until I discovered real ale, or what Americans call craft beer I think. IPAs, that kinda stuff. I'm not very educated on beer, I generally go for real ales that are bitter and have this colour:  Incidentally Hobgoblin Ruby is my favourite beer. Not black like Guinness, a nice bronze-ish colour. Speaking of Guinness, one of the best pints I ever had was a Guinness in Dublin. Doesn't taste as good anywhere else. That looks godly. Going to look for it at the beer and wine store. This is my current favorite

I kept asking for Great Northern, but it was a little bit like..  " Great Northern thanks. " " ok, Corona with lemon. " Great Northern. " Cool, Corona. " No. Great Northern. G-R-E... " C-O-R.."

Mexico has some great beers. I love Negra Modelo, Victoria and Bohemia Oscura. TBH, the only bad Mexican beer I’ve had is Corona. Shocking how popular it is. If you have to add lime to the beer to make it palatable, skip it.

I cannot tolerate this corona hate. Or the implied lime hate? I wish I could add lime to more beers and it not mess up the taste of the beer.

My work used to have a contract with Tooheys, then they switched to Carlton and Super Crisp was by far our best selling tap beer. Tooheys then offered them $500k and a whole heap of benefits & rebates to come back to their ex. They did and one of the conditions of the contract is they can’t have Super Crisp anywhere in the club (due to it being the competitor’s best seller). My boss put up a photo of him and his wife & kids at the park or something and one of the regulars commented “Super Crisp not on tap anymore? dark day for (system’s work)!). Time and place man 😂.

It's official, I am a gin snob.
This weekend at my friend's 50th they asked me if I wanted the local gin (which isn't half bad) or Beefeater. I said 'since I clean my toilet with beefeater, I guess I'll take the local'.

Miller Lite over Coors Light, but both over virtually everything except a Mexican lager with a lime. I had a Coors light once. Saw no point in drinking one ever again. I'm definitely not a fan of light American beers. Just...why? I thought all American beers were already light? :ugh: I'm not a beer drinker or wine for that matter. I've tried repeatedly to tragic consequences. I prefer Ciders like a Strongbow, Magners or Sommersby.

I've heard this complaint from Irish traveling abroad - apparently Guinness stinks everywhere but Ireland. I've drank Guinness at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, and it was magical. I've drunk Guinness in Australia and it stunk and tasted like radiator water. I'm curious as to how you know what radiator water tastes like.

Having issues with the amount of water I'm supposed to be drinking post surgery. Having way more juice than I should. I love juice. Raspberry juice, OJ of course, and some leftover wild berry juice boxes that were kicking around. Gimme dat juice!

I drink a lot of juice but heavily diluted. Essentially flavoured water. We call it "cordial" in England. In my mind that means I get the benefits of a nice tasting cold drink without flooding myself with sugars.
