One of the best-looking groups of Thanksgiving games I can remember. Buffalo will play their second straight game in Detroit, and you'd think they will look to replicate the balanced offence they showcased against Cleveland, taking some of the load off Allen during this stretch as he plays through his injury/below par games by his lofty standards. The Lions did a great job of stopping the run last week against the Giants though and enter on the back of a three-game winning streak thanks to some improved defensive performances. They're running the ball pretty well themselves, with Jamaal Williams taking over as the lead back scoring 4 touchdowns in the last two weeks.

Big Blue are trending in the opposite direction, largely due to their near-crippling injury list. They lost Wan'Dale Robinson to an ACL tear, and Richie James is also beat up, which means Daniel Jones will be throwing to guys like Isaiah Hodgins and Laurence Cager. They've also lost bodies on defence with CB1 Adoree Jackson also down with a knee injury. All those absences appear to portent a tough day at the office, especially considering how excellent Dallas looked against Minnesota. The Cowboys have gone to an extra level with Tony Pollard finally getting the usage that his dynamism has warranted for a while. On the other side of the ball, their incredibly deep pass rush continues to roll. DeMarcus Lawrence had three sacks in the first meeting between these teams, while Micah Parsons set the tone for the Vikings awful day with a forced fumble on the opening series.

Those Minnesota Vikings will attempt to right their ship against New England in what looms as a gut check game. Lose here and the idea that their record was misleading will start to come home to roost. With that said, it's only a week since their incredible win over Buffalo, and they have enough weapons to put up points. By contrast, the Patriots offence is subpar and also coming off a game where they only managed 3 points, but their defence has absolutely feasted on some bad QBs in recent weeks and is now appearing as one of the league's best by a lot of metrics. Their recipe to victory will be to force turnovers, with Matt Judon against a backup LT with Christian Darrisaw out looking like a big win matchup for New England.

Sunday action doesn't look nearly as enjoyable, Bengals vs Titans is really the only game between two good teams. The 4pm games are all good vs bad, same with SNF. MNF is intriguing to a point because the Colts are slightly reinvigorated and it's virtually a loser goes home game.

If the Buffalo actual fucking Bills don’t beat Detroit then I will officially write this season off and cheer for the Minnesota Vikings.

This may be best thankgivings day lineup in recent memory. So good there isnt even the annual bitching about the Lions playing on Thanksgiving

I hear you, but I think Buffalo blows Detroit out. I don’t see how the Giants can keep up with Dallas with all the injuries to the offense. I am interested in Patriots/Vikings and watching Bellicheck dominate Primetime Kirk.
