Monster game tomorrow with Al Michaels finally getting to call some quality football as the 49ers and Seahawks resume their fantastic rivalry. San Francisco can clinch the NFC West with a win, they are buoyed by Big Cock Brock and his ability to attack down the field, while CMC has been exactly what the doctor ordered averaging over 100 yards per game since his arrival. Seattle on the other hand are trending in the other direction and now find themselves on the outside of the playoff picture. Their run game has evaporated and the defence is coming off a very poor showing against Carolina. 

The Saturday action on NFL Network is highlighted by the AFC East matchup between Buffalo and Miami. The Dolphins offence has hit a roadblock in recent weeks and Mike McDaniel interestingly talked about multiple players freelancing outside of the system in an attempt to make plays against the Chargers. The Bills defence, even without Von Miller, beat up on Mike White last week, and Miami will have to do everything possible to keep Tua upright. Tagovailoa has previously played two games in cold Buffalo weather, throwing 4 interceptions against only 1 touchdown. 

Early on Sunday the standout matchup is the Jets hosting the Lions - both teams pressing for the playoffs. Mike White has made the Jets offence more dynamic, but he's now banged up and hasn't thrown a TD in two starts since his dynamic first start against the Bears. Detroit are one of the most inform teams in the league having won 5 of their last 6, only losing to the Bills in a close game on Thanksgiving during that stretch. Jared Goff has gone from a presumed bridge QB to a genuine "franchise" type option, currently ranking 6th in QBR, while Jamaal Williams(!) leads all skill players in touchdowns. 

Flexed into SNF is Giants/Commanders a huge game for both teams playoff chances. If Washington win, their make the playoffs percentage rises to 90%, if they lose it drops to 34%. On the flipside, a Giants win sees them rise to 86%, a loss falls them to just 26%. The Commandos have the advantage of coming off a bye since the 20-20 tie, while Big Blue were annihilated by Philadelphia and haven't won in a month. Saquon Barkley hitting a wall has been a major issue for NYG, his production has nosedived since a 35 carry game in the Giants last win against the Texans, he's averaging just 38ypg over the last four contests. 

I just signed up for Amazon Prime today(30 days free trail yah lol.) to see the Niners game tomorrow.  Deebo is out with a ankle and MCL sprain not feeling good about tomorrow ‘s game but I expect to be a war and a very close game if anything Seahawks run defense is a joke so CMC and even Jordan Mason should get a good running game going.

Don't you hate scheduling? I had time to watch the Rangers for the first time in a while today but turns out they're not playing until tomorrow when TNF is on. Then I've got something at work Monday I can't avoid so I won't be able to watch Giants/Commanders live, but I'm plenty free the next day for the completely irrelevant Packers/Rams game! 😡

It was the 2021 no.1 pick vs no.2 pick, only problem is most likely the no.2 pick isn't going to play in this one barring an injury to Mike White. 

The two teams had a game go down to the wire last season.

That was such a big swing at the end of the half, especially with the 49ers getting the ball first to start the second. Seattle could have had the ball at halfway with a chance to take the lead but dropped an easy interception, then they turned it over handing SF a touchdown that undid a lot of the good work their defence had done.
