Yep you can definitely tell Masha trained in Japan for an extended period

The smoothness and crispness to how she executes moves is like a good Josh wrestler. She's exactly what the KO division needs more of.

So how long until they put the knockout tag titles on the Iinspiration? Either way, I'm happy that Cassie Lee is going to be back on TV or whatever, though admittedly I half expected them to join AEW.

Tasha has been on such a roll lately. I enjoyed KO Knockdown. Rachael Ellering impressed me. Sign Masha Slamovich, please.

Got to love how Impact slowly but surely is building one of the best women's divisions. Do not care for the men they have, but they are becoming must watch just for the women.

Deonna vs Masha was a really great match. dex02 already covered it but Masha's speed and explosiveness was absolutely spectacular and the perfect compliment to Deonna's slower technical style.

I normally don't have a lot of time for Kimber Lee but she deserves all the credit for the Monster's Ball - it wasn't much of a match but she took all of the hardcore spots.

Mercedes' matches with Rachael and Tasha were both strong and she was obviously the right choice to win the tournament. Her vs Deonna should be a great match.

Impact always felt like the right spot for Cassie & Jessie to land in - as I predicted, and it has proven, for Deonna. I was a little bit surprised they didn't put the titles on Madison & Tenille in advance of that because it feels like the natural feud.

Final thought is that Veda Scott should really have a job commentating weekly TV, she's excellent.

Veda Scott has an amazing twitch where she showcases indy women's wrestling matches. When Reby Hardy ends her streams usually dumps people into Veda's stream.

Masha has been signed to a contract, and they've announced Decay vs The Inspiration for BFG.

some really good additions to the KO division. I'm curious how the IInspiration getting automatic title shots gets explained?

Saw that Impact has offered Lady Frost a contract. Just have not seen anything about her excepting the offer.

I got more excited about Gia Miller reading a note about Cassie and Jessie joining the fold than I have over anything related to The Influence. Even Madison can't make Tenille fun to watch.

Seems like something WWE would do. Having an unstoppable champion lose to a returning legend. I think it would have been better giving it to a new person you wanted to push.

On a side note, Iinspiration debuted yesterday and looked like stars from that entrance, they just feel above Impact IMO. Both McKay and Lee won the tag belts in their 1st match which I am never a fan of but it's good to see them relevant again and getting love from another promotion.

If they were going to do it this way , I really wish they could have done a Deonna vs Taylor title match, would have been way better than those boring Deonna vs Rosemary/Havok matches.

Unfortunately both are mediocre in the ring , so they won't be a boost to Impact's KO division match quality. 

Cassie Lee is awesome and could (should) be a star, it's a shame she refuses to bet on herself. Instead, she rather associate with Jessie McKay (still), even though IMO it brings her down.

I imagine Mickie's reign will be a relatively brief interruption to Deonna like Su's was. It was probably part of the Impact/NWA deal. I'd be very surprised if they pass up on the chance to do Deonna vs Mercedes.

I guess they're going to shoot straight into a Inspiration vs Influence feud which probably isn't the worst idea, at least the build should be fun.

Peyton Royce tried that hence the split at RAW Underground. Problem was she struck out to Vince when Vince asked what does she do on her personal time...........all the while Billie Kay found her resume gimmick and was adored by the Smackdown locker room over her segments that were goofy and silly fun. Kay dominated the last women's Royal Rumble from a time standpoint and even got to work with Jillian Hall.

Sometimes when you got a good thing going on, no need to split it. Both women make a really fun, entertaining tag team. It's not all about the work rate, it's about putting on a decent show. 

I still think when Dunn told Vince to let Kay go that Peyton Royce asked for her release or asked why they did that, but that will never come out obviously. Just the timing of both being released with Royce being a late day release vs Kay and the others being early day makes me think this occurred. 

Madison is just so good on the mic. She's right, she'll never get the credit she really deserves as one of the all time great promos.

Inspiration and Gia are already great fun together. Continuing the legacy of great KO/interviewer dynamics.

I mean I could kind of see it coming with how sporadically she was appearing but still super disappointing . I wonder if if it was just her day job getting in the way or something else?

I imagine we'll find out the situation shortly but it will be such a shame. Her return really felt like a potentially seminal moment in the darkness of the pandemic and she was fantastic in all her matches, but it just never really got going for whatever reason. I don't think there is a match in any promotion that I'd be more keen to see than Deonna vs Taylor and it will be a real shame if it never happened.

Also not here AT ALL for them wasting Mercedes match on Mickie rather than Deonna unless there's a longer term plan.

At least Taylor tweeted she hasn't been released, but if she's not going to be around then it doesn't really matter.

To make matter worse  the Thez Press looked pretty bad too. The match was like all of their matches from 2011  fine but completely unremarkable and not memorable in any way. 

Also where is Masha? They make a big deal of signing her at the Knockouts PPV after her great atch with Deonna and then nothing?

I also hope they don't try bringing back Taya , and instead try going for the likes of AQA, Ron-C, and Trish Adora. The division still needs more athleticism and dynamic in-ring performers. 

Mickey and Madison was just ok. Best part was when Kaleb told Mickey she smells like corn chips and she busted out laughing while injured.

I assume Masha has prior bookings that might conflict with Impacts taping schedule or Impact needs time to work her in to the story. She'll get there.

Curious if they make a big play for Ember Moon. She fits in TNA so well.

Given AEW seems to not want to make a proper women's division, TNA is the place to be.

I assume they straight up signed Mercedes finally. She was supposed to sign near the start of TNA but then that girl got hurt during the tryout and Mercedes got a rep for being dangerous that stayed with her for ages.
