15 million is an absolutely absurd contract for Odell considering he's another knee injury older since the Rams signed him for 1.25 million for half a season. I think he can still be a helpful piece in an offence, but this is low end WR1 money and he's only put up 1000 yards combined over the last 4 years.

The rate NFL franchises continue to increase in value is pretty extraordinary, this is 1.5 billion more than the Walmart family paid for the Broncos less than a year ago. Snyder bought the team back in '99 for just 800 million.

The leader of this group Josh Harris owns the 76ers and Devils, and only recently bought a minority stake in the Steelers (which he'll have to sell) in 2020.

Jalen Hurts just hit paydirt 5 years 255 mill. Have yourself a day, he put out a fantastic 2022 year to earn that.

EDIT: 179 mill guaranteed, Philly paid up before inflation was about to kick in and he might have gotten even more than the record breaking deal he ended up getting. Curious how he does with a new OC. 

Ah shit Quinnen Williams agent struck it big, she might be doing it again with him.

(She is a great agent btw, saw a piece done a few years ago when she started brand new with Quinnen Williams as her 1st client. She is practically like a 2nd mother to a lot of these guys, pays out of pocket to make sure they have a room to stay and goes beyond to root & back her players. Given Quinnen and Quincy who is also signed with her lost their mother, she really went all in to make that draft their moment. The accolade is cool but it's cool to see someone get rewarded who isn't Drew Rosenhals or one of these well known agents)

Wish Lamar Jackson would roll with her and just cave in. 

Allen Robinson getting traded to the Steelers, maybe a change of scenery is needed but the Rams might be really bad this year. Mike LaFleur has little to anything to work with as the OC.

Yet Miles Austin and Calvin Ridley got year longs, how does one determine what gets 6 games vs one year?

Not a good look for Jameson Williams though, with these 6 games he basically has missed a full year's worth of time considering he missed like 3/4 of the rookie year from ACL recovery.

EDIT: The ones that got 6 games bet on non NFL games at an NFL facility, didn't Miles Austin not bet on NFL games but still got the indefinite ban? Makes no real sense. 

The NFL has become MLB: no gambling on games if you're a player, because that's in bad taste, but we'll let casinos and sports books advertise on broadcasts and in stadiums.

NOW I can say it.

Aaron Rodgers is officially a New York Jet.

The Jets and the Packers finalized the deal, where the two teams will swap first round picks for this year, plus the Packers will receive this year's 2nd and 6th round picks, plus a conditional 2nd round pick next year.

Also, Rodgers won't be wearing #12 on his uniform, out of respect for Joe Namath.  Instead, he'll be wearing his old college #8.

That is a lot less than I expected. Potentially a steal for the Jets.

Can’t wait for him to add an AFC Championship loss to his NFC Championship losing resume.

Really? It’s really quite the win all things considered with the 1st next year.

This is a big win for the packers, they get to see what Jordan Love has to offer and if he bombs, they have ammo to get a good QB next year and maybe even get a new regime too.

This is typical Jets winning headlines in April all over again. No patience, no real plan, this is a year to year plan with a wacky quarterback now calling shotgun and having full dictatorship in NYJ. Got Lazard, got Tim Boyle, will get Randall Cobb and whomever else.

It's pretty much super bowl or bust here for NYJ and given the Chiefs, Bengals, Bills and maybe Dolphins are in the AFC East, I don't even know if NYJ is even the 2nd best team in their DIVISION, let alone the friggin conference.
