Rotten Tomatoes is an aggregate for professional critics. And audience score is comprised of, in the case of the top films, tens of thousands of scores. From that you can get a consensus. The last Dynamite show has less than 150 votes on Cagematch. To use it in any way, shape, or form to book a wrestling promotion is unfathomably idiotic.

The All Out Brawl Out Fall Out continues. ----- Reason behind Dana Missie (wife of Matt Jackson) leaving AEW revealed Dana Missie was the Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer of AEW since the companies inception. The WON are reporting that Missie left the company due to Tony Khan not defending The Young Bucks, and not “giving them a chance to explain publicly what happened” following the All Out 2022 backstage fight. “She was someone at one point expected to do this forever. I think with everything that happened over the last year with her husband and brother-in-law, vilified and never defended and never being allowed to defend themselves and the company never defending them, it made it really difficult.” That is what happens when Tony trys to keep all his "friends". He ends up with none in the end. The Elite's decision was not-unanimous so atleast one wanted to go. Wonder what that person or people are thinking right now with their current position.

My two thoughts looking at this photo: - Cena is not a very tall guy, and he’s lost 50 lbs of muscle, and yet he just absolutely dwarfs MJF. That truly surprises me. Cena is about 6’ (on a good day), and I’d legitimately bought into MJF at 5’9”. Obviously I was way wrong. - Cena is turning into Vince McMahon. I'd bet on 5'10" easily. But he's not tall. Here's a photo of Johnny Wrestling and Cena, I'd put Johnny no taller than 5'7" and I'd suggest MJF had got Gargano by a few inches. He said in his Players Tribune article today he’s maybe 5’8”.

Ha you beat me to it. I posted the World's End thread early and threw this in there. Great article. I especially love how he can bleed AEW in one sentence then make it sound like he is saying thank you and farewell the next. He certainly is a generational talent. Guy knows how to work with the best of them.

Dave Meltzer has revealed that Andrade is expected to return to the WWE when his AEW deal expires. With six months left on his contract I wonder if Miro pummels him on Saturday then he goes and wrestles in CMLL while he still can or something. Not really surprised. He's been one foot out the door since the day he signed. I think he just wanted to get paid lots of money while still being able to work in Mexico and visit his wife whenever he wanted.

Like so many of Hunter's kids, he's probably wanted back into WWE the day Hunter took control.
There's also rumblings on socials that Black is also making a move back to WWE. I've seen it reported on a few pages, but it's nothing more than a lot of reading between the lines on social media posts.

MJF is reportedly no longer listed on AEW's official roster page..
It's probably a work and MJF is probably going to tease a Rumble debut while he's on a break, and then it won't happen.

MJF has been removed from the AEW roster page.
I'm leaning towards this being a worked shoot or even a glitch in the system but is it really that wise to even tease something like this at this stage?
Could this be another example of Tony giving his wrestlers far too much creative freedom at the expense of his company?

Can anyone explain to me the point of this? This guy is supposed to be a mega-babyface. Where is the sense in having him publicly flirt with the enemy?

All to likely show he choose AEW over WWE probably. They'll make out he fielded a few calls from other companies without saying names, as he always does and then in this case, TK flopped his massive nut sack on the counter and made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

I was trying to figure out how the hell I missed nath's post - turns out we made it in the same minute.
I'd imagine from their perspective it's like a movie where the jerk does a noble deed and is now free to do what they want. They tease it, only to have a change of heart and everyone lives happily ever after.
Except nobody buys it and the one angle that they lucked into has been completely squandered.
It's the one area they're really struggling with. In Pro Wrestling, you have to be able to roll with the punches. You could lose Austin, Taker, Foley in a matter of weeks but you could gain an Angle, Rikishi, Radicalz out of nowhere and completely revitilise your business. You have to be able to adapt and when the time comes, spoil the fans.

Andrade El Idolo has been removed from the roster page as well, although that's not as surprising.

MJF dropped the "bidding war of 2024" thing after he turned face and started teaming with Adam Cole. However it was never announced if he had re-signed with the company or not. So he gets written off TV after the massive beat down on Saturday and they remove him from the roster page to remind everyone "oh shit, his contract is up," in case any fans forgot. Adds more drama and realism to his return when it happens. Guaranteed Adam Cole and the rest of The Devil's Rejects show up on Wednesday and brag about how they outsmarted MJF, destroyed him, took him out of the company, blah blah blah. Then Cole says that his deal with Joe was that when he won the AEW title, Cole would be first in line for a shot. Or maybe Wardlow gets the shot if Cole is still injured. Andrade El Idolo has been removed from the roster page as well, although that's not as surprising. He's gone. Tony announced at the Worlds End press conference that his contract expired on Dec 31st and he would not be returning. Good chance we see Andrade on Raw tonight.

Also Bryan Alvarez said this morning that he is not reporting it because he doesn't know for sure, but he would be "really surprised" if Mercedes Mone doesn't show up on Dynamite this week. Might be something to keep an eye on.

I see, I didn't watch the press conference, or Worlds End for that matter. I enjoy Andrade, I thought he was great in the Continental Classic, plus him showing up in CMLL, was cool as well. Either way, like I said I enjoy Andrade, so him going back to the WWE, means one more person for me to watch, on those shows.

The more hilarious part would be Mercedes Mone showing up on AEW television before Britt Baker does. Unless they are bringing her in specifically to fight Baker at Revolution.

I think WWE won the exchange of Cargill for Mone, never been a big fan of the latter. Lousy attitude and did nothing to elevate STARDOM, credit to Mercedes for cashing in if she got a big deal but she will be complaining about the women's division booking by the end of 2024 for sure.
That being said, it's the right move for AEW to make but I have never been too impressed with Mone/Banks.

That being said, it's the right move for AEW to make but I have never been too impressed with Mone/Banks. She has to already be aware it is horrible. She like many others probably think she will be the one to save it. She will have the best matches of who every she faces. AEW fans will claim this as a major win. Women still won't get more time on Dynamite. Mercedes will eventually fall out of rotation. She will complain about women not getting equal time. She will get turned on by fans for not saving the division or speaking ill of the company. She will want out of the company.
Probably can insert gets injured between one of those.

So … Ibushi is under AEW contract now, right?
Why is he in Japan wrestling on a broken ankle, in a shameful display Randy the Ram would have to look away from?

Ibushi has always been terrible about that kind of stuff. Dude always has something broken and just ignores it until he can’t anymore. As for why he is allowed to do that, Tony wants to be friends with everyone and just cares about getting that #ALLELITE graphic up on twitter. He probably gave Ibushi a contract that just lets him appear when he wants.

My god I did not realize how bad the Ibushi thing was. He can’t even walk during the match. And that is BEFORE he breaks his ankles.
The flip where his ankle snaps is so hard to watch. He just sits there in pain and the ref and other staff don’t even do anything! What the fuck!
I see now why he was so immobile during the Blood and Guts match. Injuries caught up with him way quicker than anyone expected. I guess that is what you get when you don’t get surgery because you think exercise heals all.
Tony should have made it a requirement that he pass a fitness test before signing. But at the same time I don’t think anyone knew it was this bad. He looked fine in his first few matches after returning from hiatus.

Maybe he will be worth his pay down the line but so far whatever he paid Ibushi seems like a waste of money.

I get what he was saying but there was no need to throw a talent under the bus like that. Mahal gets people to boo which isn't easy in this day and age and Rollins should win while Mahal is made to look credible. Not everything has to be dictated based off a 3 months tournament or anything.

And you could attack the champ backstage and also get a title shot despite being a jobber, it's like he's never watched wrestling.
