Weird news, WWE gave RVD permission to work AEW while on a Legend's contract with them. He is laying into WWE fanboys on twitter claiming he betrayed them.

Apparently the warrant was issued July 28th. They booked this match either knowing Cash could be arrested at any moment, or Cash knew about it and didn’t tell anyone.

Tony and his legal team had to know about this weeks ago and still booked the match if Cash already plead. Likely Cash will be released with no restrictions and can do the show. Love that Tony is clearly not gonna punish him because that would make Punk sads.

Wonder if you can hold the titles while in prison.  Because Florida has really stiff mandatory minimum sentences laws, particularly when guns or drugs are involved.  Cash should be looking at 10 years min under the 10-20-life law.

You realize that even if he is released with no restrictions, the UK doesn’t have to let him in, right? Jeff Hardy and Jimmy Uso weren’t allowed into Canada on fucking DUIs. The UK government can just deny him entry and they probably will.

If he is lucky, he will get 3 years min as they will dodge the 10-20-life stuff.  Depends how the charge is done as aggravated assault seems to be able to go two ways, one with 10 years, one with 3 years.

Almost certain if he does not make a plea he is going to jail though.  Violent firearm charge in Florida is not good.

Thought UK did not restrict until after conviction. As far as the US legal system is concerned, right now Cash is guilty of nothing.

Cash likely getting off. More details came out. Was a road rage incident where he supposedly flashed a gun while driving. Gonna be very hard to prove he flashed a gun though. If they get the other person to show up and take the stand, it is still his word against their word, and turns the case into a coin toss. What is likely to happen is the other person does not want to take the stand as they really gain nothing from it, leaving the DA with no case and forcing them to drop all charges.

Also does not appear to be any travel restrictions, he kept his passport, and bonded out at $2500.

He did lose his weapons, which he will get back if not convicted.

This. Now that we know more details it sounds like he turned himself in as a formality since he would probably have more trouble traveling if there was still a warrant out for his arrest.

No travel restrictions and did not have to surrender his passport. Basically up to the UK now if they let him in or not when he gets there (they probably will).

Usually the standard is conviction, not arrest. You are considered innocent in common law until you are convicted by a jury.

Well that’s a bit of a gamble. He could easily be denied if he’s on a gun charge.

Sounds like the AEW response will be well, we all make mistakes sometimes.

I mean who among us have not pointed a gun out the window at someone while driving.

Case will not go to court. John Alba shared the police report that has the person's name who called the police. Within minutes people found his picture, address and phone number. We seen what AEW fans do to people they do feel are attacking AEW. No way this guy appears in court after the death threats start to flood in and his real estate business is trashed.

The last thing you want to do is anger an AEW neckbeard.

Rumours are kicking up that Edge might actually land in AEW. It’s a lot of speculation right now but apparently Edge went to WWE and told them what he wanted to stay and they declined. The belief is whatever he told WWE is what AEW is offering him.
