The severity of the threat is really down to how busy the neckbeard's mother is and whether she can drive them.

Edge is likely to end in AEW simply because Christian is locked there for years on contract. If he wants one final run with Christian it has to be AEW. Not be shocked if Christian was one of the people WWE wanted to know the contract status of that made Tony all paranoid and pissy.  WWE def would have preferred to rehire Christian and do the run there then release Edge and have it done in AEW.

Err maybe not, looks like WWE owns the name Edge, so he will need to be renamed which will be awkward.  Adam Copeland just kind of weird to use.  If he was smart, he would use Adam Ares for cross promotional shit.

It would be funny as shit if he did his entire AEW run as Conquistadores Unos and Christian insisted his identity should never be revealed.  Moreso if they had to balls to do a Quack spot of finding someone who wrestles like Edge, uses his moves, then is unmasked and just some normal dude underneath people assumed was Edge for months.

He can wrestle as Hedge. Nobody will know the difference.

Reportedly WWE could not meet Edge's demands to stay. Which was likely he wanted one final run with Christian, so WWE would have had to buy out Christian from Tony, which no way they would do during a merge.

Edge has been very vocal about wanting one more run with Christian before he hangs up his boots for good. Tony I believe has Christian for 3 more years, as his standard contract now is for five years.  So they want to work together, Edge going to AEW is where it will happen.  They also got the Hardys who he wanted to do a final match with alongside Christian.

Saw someone do a legal analysis of Cash's charge. His charge is aggravated assault with a firearm, that carries a mandatory min sentence and up to five years. But no witnesses which means the DA really is not gonna want to try it as Cash could simply claim he did not have his gun and then it is he said / she said and assault law in Florida can be very nuanced. So he should be able to accept a deal for simple assault that is punishable up to 60 days instead. Before he takes the plea, he does anger management, and since it was his first charge he will walk with a 500 fine and MAYBE probation. Probation is unlikely given his profession.

Or there is option B. He spends six figures and goes in with a crack defense team. DA has a single witness, and no physical evidence. He spends enough he can get Loftus on the stand, who has convinced juries before that people saw guns where no gun was before.  And other witnesses on things like memory and misperception.  These people are near impossible to cross too, as they have no stake in the trial.

But there seems to be no reality that sees Cash going to jail for 3 years on he said. And some people wonder why the DA even charged this at all given it is so unlikely to win a conviction on trial. Worst case is he is on probation and needs to call constantly with updates on his travel.

I don't understand how they can use one gimmick to upper midcard status like Orange Cassidy but cannot find any time whatsoever for an AEW Original like Sonny Kiss. Make it make sense. Tony Khan brags about how great of a booker he is but he can't find any time or standing for someone who has proven to get more eyeballs on the screen like Kiss, as she showed when she turned heel on one of the past AEW Rampage shows.

May not lead to anything, but Maki at Starcast doing Art of Wrestling live with Colt right now.

Of note no translator for Maki, which means her English is getting much better.  Wonder how long until Tony tries seriously to lock her down.  WWE is pretty much out for her given she would not be able to do Japanese shows and would have to kill her Only Fans which is making her about 100k a year.

It is quite sad waiting her time, trusting the process, and wasting 4 years of her life. Sonny wasn't like AEW goal is to be some champion. Simply wanted a proper storyline and couldn't even get that. I did she her as a Cody hire though.

Glad you mentioned that, Cody gave her a 20+ plus showcase while someone like Omega completely squashed her in seconds. Think that says it all. I feel like they missed their chance when Jade Cargill had formed her team and despite fan outrage of wanting Kiss to join her Baddies group, they refused to associate them together. 

I have to think maybe this was a TV decision because otherwise it makes no real sense. Kiss wasn't a great wrestler but they have had so many rotten talents on TV more than Kiss. She was considered a star on the late seasons of Lucha Underground

AEW needs to explore per-appearance deals way more than they are. With their roster still being bloated it would make a lot of sense to rework some contracts that are expiring into something like that.

I know Tony wants to keep everyone happy and he isn't afraid of spending money, but look at the recent Sonny Kiss situation where someone wasn't being used and was clearly unhappy with their contract. You completely avoid those situations if you're just paying these people when you need them and they feel like showing up.
