I assume Drew and Sheamus are done. They are simply not worth main event money. Both have contracts coming up soon.

You mean the guys who are on TV every week main eventing TV and PPVs c? They're cut? We've got more chance of losing Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland in reality.

Both are big money guys creative usually has nothing for. Hell Drew even got shoved to dark matches for a while. Guys floating aimlessly now are not safe when Vince does not has majority control.

Recently released WWE Superstars Mace and Mansoor took to Twitch to air out some stuff about their backstage life in WWE
They say there was once an incident that led to Matt Riddle slapping GUNTHER and Gunther doing nothing about it.
Mansoor wasn't on NXT TV because he wasn't allowed to lose due to the Saudi deal.
LA Knight hated them and threatened to quit.
Vince loved the MMM gimmick and helped them rehearse
Mansoor said Miz is the nicest guy, Mace said it's Cody
Both agree Miz is very well respected vet.
Both admit that Retribution was just antifa
Said Vince is a nice guy
Seth doesn't hang out with any other talent.
Gargano is a funny dude
Kevin Owens is cool
Sami is kind of annoying but harmless.
Said Jeff Jarrett was the nicest legend in WWE
Vince was incredibly nice to them was would joke around during pre-tapes.
AJ Styles is really cool and only really talks atbout video games and Georgia Football
Jason Jordan is their favorite agent
Micheal Cole is a pro and speaks with talents and takes note as what they want him to get over.
Vince thought Mansoor was fat so he got in shape
They almost lost their Twitch because Shayna choked out Mansooor on a stream
Both Usos are really cool dudes
Chad and Otis are nice

Contracts are up for both, so will see if they resign or not. UFC is really fucked up with contracts as they do not negotiate, they give you a number and you take it or leave it. Not a good sign for Drew who is unhappy with his pay. Sheamus would be an idiot to resign at near his current pay as well, as Tony will double it.

From what I heard, Vince felt bad for keeping him from his true passion and let him go so he can be on Dancing With The Stars India.
Another one of those guys who was getting that push until HHH stepped in.

When Shemaus had that banger with Gunther, someone commented that it took him 15 years to get that good. But at least he was good. In saying that, some of these releasees have been around for sooo long without getting to a even a consistent level - Aliyah, 8 years in WWE. Mace, 7 years. Boogs, 6. Moss, 9. Kato, 7. I'm sorry, but how long is too long? Some of these guys have had longer active careers in WWE than The Rock and Steve Austin. Aliyah was around long enough, it's almost like watching the new generation transition to the Attitude era to the Ruthless Agression era in terms of length. I think you need to consider that a lot of those talents had next to no background in the industry before. Whereas, Stone Cold had been wrestling for seven years before he went to New York.
So it becomes a question of how long should it take a talent to sign with the WWE and gain some notoriety. I look at Austin, he started training in '88 and becomes a member of the Deadly Alliance by 91, so roughly three years give or take.
The issue is that you need your meat and potato veterans to help show these guys how to get over on a big stage. I don't think it helps these developing talents to be stepping into the same ring and have to compete against these indie talents who can work a modern style but they're still learning how to get over at a bigger level.

It was mentioned last year, that there was a new policy in NXT where talent had consistent check ins and if there was little to no improvement, they're out. www.google.com/amp/s/www.sportskeeda.com/amp/wwe/news-wwe-executive-outlines-new-nxt-talent-ruleThis is something I agree with. There's too much deadweight in WWE. A big part this is driven by the brand split, and another part of this is driven by the want for NXT to be seen as a third brand. This is (PC/NXT) the best training/development system in the world and it should be pretty obvious by a certain point whether someone has it or not. If you're brand new, and you're not " getting it " within 12 months.. you're never going to get it. If you're studying economics at University and 12 months in, you're stuck on the concept of money being used in exchange for goods or services. Sorry, you're not an economist buddy, or ever will be. This developmental system needs to be cut throat.

Not sure that rule was being followed as well as it should. A lot of NXT will not get over on the main roster.
12 months should be enough to figure out if someone gets it or not, I def agree. Moreso with world class training. On the indys you are working regularly by then.

I don’t know if there has been anything that has driven my interest away from the sport of MMA more than the giant human tumor that is attached to it by the name of Dana White. Shit like him inserting his name into the title of their Contender series, always making sure his face is in the middle of things, the petty grudges he holds over real fighters legends that the sport was built off their backs, his whole demeanor and attitude, the rewriting history to take credit for all the bullshit the previous owners ate to keep the sport alive, I could honestly care less about the UFC for almost a decade now. It’s pretty gross. And more boring than ever since it started 30 years ago.
