I went into CEX behind Gibson once.

Oh yeah. One of the best parts of post Mania is this.

Apparently, they asked for their release, which I guess is better than unexpectedly being fired.

Some fan caught him driving around on Sunday and they asked him why he wasn’t at Wrestemania. He replied “my Wrestlemania’s tomorrow,” implying he would be at Raw. He wasn’t. There’s a video around somewhere if you want to see it.

If Bray was expecting to be on the show and was pulled he is definitely the type to walk. Or he knew what was coming and was trolling the fan.

I read she was supposed to have a six man tag match and Vince cancelled it last minute last night.

PWInsider reports that Charlotte Flair will be taking time off from WWE. They add that she informed WWE about this during Wrestlemania Weekend. It is unknown at this stage on how long she will be out but she indicated to a few backstage that she’s winding her career down moving forward.

It appears the gate opens once more. Brian Pillman Jr set to sign with WWE it is being reported. They passed on so many people it is weird he is the one they reopen the doors for.  May be a Vince decision though.

Frankly if they are bringing in people Matt Cardona should have been the first person signed.  He knows the WWE style and proven himself time and time again since he has been away.

WWE loves " the story " there's a story to tell with Pillman Jr. They can talk about how he is a second generation talent, he can go on Austin's SSR show and they can talk about his Dad and how similarly to Cody, he's here for everything his father didn't get the chance to achieve, etc.

Or better yet, it's easy to come up with something.

I don't remember him being especially great in AEW, nor will he debut with any fanfare, but I'd take a chance on him.

Austin and Pillman Sr were super close so probably Austin had a say with Vince and HHH. 

Pillman would be good in NXT honestly, if he can get the NXT development training, he can make it work. HBK, Regal & Matt Bloom will probably make sure Pillman's son gets all the chances in the world. 

More curious what his WWE name will be. Can't be any worse than Ava Rayne or Michael McGillicutty.

I'm not surprised about them signing Pillman Jr.  If you watch that Dark Side of the Ring episode, it makes perfect sense. Plus the kid has a good look and his dad's name to capitalize on. Might not work out, but at least they can say they gave him a shot whether on his own merit or because they feel it's owed in some respect.

I LOVE Matt Cardona/Zack Ryder and have for years, but again it's not surprising to me they haven't re-signed him. I personally don't think it's makes sense, because he's awesome and pretty much did everything they ever asked of him and then some. Plus as you said, he's proven he can do awesome things without them.  I'll never understand why they never really got behind him. He and Christian are two of my all time faves and both (if you ask me) were both mishandled.  

If signing Matt Cardona was on the table, I'd want Matt Cardona and not "Zack Ryder"

I, and WWE can do without that "woo, woo, wooooo... you know it" gimmick.

Yeah, if you Matt, you keep Matt. He is really over in that gimmick and can do it in WWE. Moreso with the cosplay of legends.


I can see Vince feeling bad for Pillman losing his mom last year, and then getting released from AEW and pushing on Vanguard to allow him to make a low cost signing. Austin and Lance Storm likely pushed on Vince as well, as Pillman kind of has had a real shit life.

Maybe they only see him as Zack Ryder...

Poor Matt. He has both Blue Kane and Maki gunning for him.
