He's a Vince fav, even HHH misused him in NXT. If Vince regains power, you will see more Elias.

lmao I was wondering the same thing but didn’t wanna sound like a noob. 

Been doing it for years.  While off TV they generally just walk about the ring taunting for fans or doing lame rest holds.  

NXT and AEW have been doing it for a long while now, instead of rest holds they're doing more actual action during picture-in-picture. Haven't been following Raw/SD so can't say about those shows.

I only stopped watching end of 2021. I don't remember them doing that. They'd get the match started some then have commercials and come back but you didn't watch in picture seeing what you were missing. 

Maybe I'm just old. 

If there is no picture in picture they just stall. People at live tapings complain all the time about it.

I don't know what you were watching but I had picture in picture.  The commercials were on one side and then up in the top left corner was the match.  All good.

Oh, that is fairly new.  Tony got a deal to do that in AEW and WWE copied it.  Was the solution to the weirdness of starting a match, then cutting TV and having guys just stall until TV is back.
