If there is no picture in picture they just stall. People at live tapings complain all the time about it. I don't know what you were watching but I had picture in picture. The commercials were on one side and then up in the top left corner was the match. Stream got wonky and misunderstood what you were talking about.

Did the ref know what was supposed to happen? Was he waiting for the first two people to show up, no matter who they were, and be like 'yep these two are fighting?'

No snark, my only assumption is that with the sale/merger announced and pending all the long term scripts got thrown out the window and the show(s) are in a holding pattern til everything gets figured out.
Can't start too many new storylines and can't do any callups because you don't know who's going to be working here next month, if the brand split (such as it is) will still be in place or what the PPV schedule is going to look like.

Makes sense. Cause otherwise I can't understand why this RAW after Mania is "so-so". I've been to 5 WM's and 5 RAW after WM's and they were always awesome and special. You didn't want to miss it. You could have missed this. This is one reason I stopped watching because I don't have 3 hours to just sit and watch. Luckily I'm chained to my desk tonight with work so...here I am. Poor Miz. I have always loved him, but he deserves so much more. He's a good company man.
