Yeah this definitely could take awhile as shareholders of WWE have the right to challenge it, and they will likely sue, and MLW will likely sue to stop the merge. Tony could as well, but I do not see him getting involved.

So it really makes no sense to stop stories, as this will not be a fast process at all, nor a certain one. They mostly will merge, but it is not 100%. A real case could make made that this create a monopoly or this was not the best deal for WWE shareholders and benefits Vince at their expense.

The term "Local Medical Facility" has returned to the WWE lexicon.

Reports are the reason the show was so weird was the card has major changes hours before start, with matches to get up a women's title feud killed and a massive focus moved to Reigns instead. Talent between the confusion about the sale, Vince's obvious return, the chaos and the not knowing what to believe are not happy at all.

Watching the last 30 minutes on replay. I'd rather see Brock then Riddle. Where the hell has he been?  I see he ditched the boxer briefs and is now sporting the nut huggers. he should go back to the briefs. 

I really wish Trish was wrestling in that tag match next week over Lita. 

I don't get Brock's actions against Cody at all or the middle fingers, but I guess we'll hear all about next week? Great seeing Helms, Petey and Noble though. The time's they are a changing and yet I'm still stuck with Brock. 

Given the circumstances of when this show was held, this had to be one of the worst RAWs I've ever seen.

It was just one big jumbled up mess.

I think a lot of it has to do with the sale and Vince's return.  Nothing is changing though...

I think your 2023 Release thread is going to get a workout the next little bit.

That show didn’t sound very good tbh!

They spent too much time talking about how great Wrestlemania was and not enough time trying to make RAW great. They spent 35 minutes to hype up a main event they actually never delivered on and when you factor in entrances etc. it was an hour dedicated to Brock turning on Cody.

I don't mind the direction things are going in with Brock/Cody, Judgement Day/Bad Bunny and the return of Matt Riddle but it was the type of RAW you could skip over and just let the recaps do their thing.

lol all that was missing from Triple He's announcement was 'best for business ' hahaha

Disjointed, yes. Odd, maybe. Terrible, it wasn't the worst wrestling show I've seen this year. It wasn't even the worst show I've seen this month.

God, the booker of the year jobs you out to Sammy Guevara and blocks you from contending for a World Championship - while, the WWE let's you debut at Wrestlemania, work Seth, win The Rumble, Main Event the next Wrestlemania and now work Brock. Safe to say Cody is happy with his choice to come home.

More to this: a fan caught Seth on video talking to someone at ringside during the commercial. It looks like his segment was cut while he was standing in the ring. In the video he looks upset and some other fans reported he threw his microphone but that isn’t in the video.

On top of that, WON reporting that talks with Jay White haven’t happened and there was no contact over the weekend. Thank goodness he held off on signing.

All anyone is talking about is how much this show reeks of a Vince re-write and the uproar online this morning is unlike anything I’ve seen in recent memory. Now you have a top star obviously pissed off, reports of others being angry, and a top free agent likely walking away from a deal. What a joke.

I was JUST starting to like WWE again.

I have two things to say.

1. Cody Rhodes takes an amazing F5.
2. That beating was absolutely savage.

WWE was pretty solid before Vince left, so I don’t think it’ll impact too much on viewer enjoyment. Then again, I’m very much a PPV and YouTube guy. The biggest concern I would say is the internal morale of the wrestlers.

Morale is extremely low as they preferred HHH's booking. HHH booked in advanced, Vince will change things right before the show. Also Vince is very get in his way and likes what he likes. HHH is more adaptive of putting people out there and seeing what the fans want.

Let’s see what SD and next weeks Raw looks like. I’m willing to give a pass coming out of an awesome WM, and hot on the back of the sale announcement the show was bound to be affected. Hope it’s not a sign of things to come though.

If I see Charlotte beating Rhea in a rematch on Friday, Then we'll know that Vince is back 100%.
