I’m glad Liv/Raquel won but that match was awful, twice Raquel did moves that would just blatantly hurt Liv more and commentary had to play it off + Corey trying to sell all the confusion as miscommunication. Thought Trish & Lita would be gone after their mania payday It seemed like Raquel missed her cue on the tower of doom spot. It was odd because she helped Liv hit her elevated Tornado DDT, Liv then goes for three covers and Raquel goes from the apron and starts selling around the floor. Meanwhile Trish and Becky are slowly setting Liv up for the double superplex, and they keep threatening to do it before Raquel staggers off.
The Diamond Dust/Guillotine Legdrop spot was clearly planned, but just poorly sold by Raquel. She had to get lower and spring up to sell the impact more before falling out of the ring. Her bump made it seem like she power-slammed Becky onto her partner, it was only when she fell out of the ring it made sense.

A solid edition of RAW.
Supposedly a 1/3 of the roster had travel issues, so they kept the show relatively bare bones.
Finn Balor vs. Rey Mysterio was a good opener. Dom can really do no wrong, even when he flubs lines it works for his punk kid character. Finn Balor won with the Coup De Gras after Dom smacked his dad with a chain.
In the biggest story of the night, Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan became the Women's Tag Team Champions after beating Becky Lynch & Trish Stratus. Trish filled in for Lita who was left lying backstage. The match was clunky in places but was otherwise fine with Becky selling her ass off to make Raquel and Liv look strong. The finish saw Becky take Raquel to the outside so Trish could finish off Liv. Trish went for the chick kick, Liv ducked and rolled her up for the surprise pin. After the match, Becky consoled Trish, Trish tried to explain herself and as Becky was about to leave the ring, Trish blind-sided her and left her laying. Byron Saxton tried to interview her but to no avail.
Bobby Lashley & Bronson Reed fought to a Double Count-Out. The crowd popped big for a spine-buster Lashley hit, but right as Lashley had the Hurt Lock applied, Bronson rolled them to the outside where they began brawling. They kept brawling well after the match was called as well as referees and officials separated them. Poor Bronson seemed severely gassed and could barely move his arms. I thought Lashley came off looking great, Bronson not so much.
Cody Rhodes cut a long winded promo that basically boiled down to him challenging Brock Lesnar to a match at Wrestlemania Backlash.
The Usos def. The Alpha Academy after the 1-D. I thought this was the match of the night and the Usos gave Alpha Academy a ton of offence. It seemed at one stage Gable was actually going to get the pin and the crowd bought hook, line and sinker - it was a great near fall. However Jey lured Otis to the outside, both him and Jimmy double-superkicked him over the announce desk to take him out of the equation, then they double super-kicked Gable and hit the 1-D for the finish.
Iyo Sky def. Michin & Piper Niven to become the No. 1 contender for the RAW Women's title. Originally Damage Ctrl was going to be represented by Bayley, but Iyo put her foot down and demanded she got the shot. It seems like they're teasing a break-up with Iyo surpassing the master of sorts. Anyways, this was another good match where everything flowed well and they played to the different dynamics really well. Finish saw Michin hit the Eat Defeat on Piper but when she applied the cover, Iyo hit a moonsault off the top and covered Michin for the victory.
Solo Sikoa def. Kevin Owens in the main event. The story of the match is that not only did Kevin Owens have to deal with the Usos with no back-up, he was also dealing with a knee injury he hadn't been cleared from. He put in a valiant effort, but sold the knee through out and eventually the numbers game got to him. Owens hit a Pop Up Powerbomb, but Sikoa shrugged off the stunner attempt and as Jimmy had the referee distracted Jey hit a superkick on Owens from the outside of the ring. Sikoa hit the Samoan Spike for the victory. After the match the Bloodline laid waste on Kevin Owens. Then the camera cut to the parking lot where Riddle and Sami Zayn got out of their car and raced to the arena and cleared the ring to end the show.
The show felt like a direct response to last week's 'not enough action' complaint. Plenty of in-ring action tonight and on the whole it was largely good. The women's tag had some definite peaks and valleys, much like the Wrestlemania 6-way. Speaking of, I'm glad Iyo is being rewarded for that effort

I wonder if we'll get one final blowoff match between Trish and Lita at the Saudi show? It wouldn't be a good idea for them to face each other considering where both of them are in their careers. Apparently tonight was Lita's last night. I'm looking forward to seeing how Trish fares during this feud. A heel turn is exciting because she did some of her best-ever work as a heel, but somewhat bizarrely her mic skills seem to have dropped off worse than her wrestling post-retirement. As far as I can remember she's only done multi-woman matches (Rumble, tags) since her retirement, no? Kinda easier to hide a smaller gas tank when others can pick up the slack.

I watched this match and I really enjoyed it, best tag team match I have seen in ages. Seems like they are trying to mix the booking of Otis as part time monster, part time clown, it is a difficult line to walk.

Trish absolutely slayed it. I even gave her a solo round of applause when she dropped the mic.
The temporary alliance between Judgment Day and The Bloodline was pretty fun. Like the attention to detail of Balor being sour grapes, and the interaction between Rhea and Solo was hilarious. That's how a heel and heel alliance should work. Although WWE is going a bit overboard with the clusterfucky brawls between Usos and SamiKoRiddle, and Judgment Day and LwO. One mega clusterfuck to end Raw!
People were talking about how Reigns should have dropped the belts and taken a vacation. Looks like he's got the best of both worlds. Kept the belts, has a vacation. Honestly, given that Cody is now fighting Brock, why couldn't Cody be the champion for this feud?

So 2.5 grown men and Rhea can't take out a rapper from Puerto Rico a also need Solo to do it for them, and despite their inability to vanquish Bad Bunny they've agreed to take out, wait for out.. actual WWE Superstars in KO, Riddle and Sami.
I thought in theory the interaction between the two groups would be great. I felt Heyman fumbled and bumbled his way through the promo, instead of selling it like it is... A FUCKING UNHOLY ALLIANCE!
A extra layer to The Bloodline storyline should have seen Roman Reigns present for the summit, and almost reluctant as Heyman sells the union of the two groups. Then Roman talks some rubbish about blood and acknowledgement to insert dominance, and for Balor to acknowledge Reign the best way he knows how... and throws up the Wolf salute with it reciprocated.

I'm glad Trish 'took Lita out' as I agree, it was for her own good, but Trish still looks and sounds fantastic. Looking forward to her further interactions with Becky.
Enjoyed the Belair vs Kai match and Miz vs Rollins.
Ending was a bit of a cluster with Stable Mania but otherwise decent show.

I had mixed feelings about the Trish promo. I can't remember a promo that Trish cut for that long by herself in a long time. A majority of the feud with Mickie James was promos done backstage & elsewhere. As far as the content of Trish's promo, I found the part of her need to take credit for everything & that being a reason for the attack on Beckwy to be a tired troupe in many male & female promos. I don't like Becky's wrestling at times but her ability on the mic is top not notch. Without having promos, reasons & motivations being centered on jealousy & fake friendships 100% of the time. It's a step above the disingenuous fake apology promos that Alexa & Carmella used to cut. When Becky talked about how heartbroken she was because she felt due to fans cheering for Bianca instead of her, I felt Becky's pain. When Reha Ripley speaks, I hear the conviction in her voice. I know things will improve but I find that promo to be mishandled a bit. A sit-down interview could have been way better.
