This was Biden they would be asking for dementia tests.

Polls now showing that RFK Jr will eat away 10 points from Trump while taking no support from Biden. RFK Jr basically is taking all of the anti-vax votes since Trump developed and promoted the COVID vaccine.

This gives Biden a 10 point lead over Trump and should ensure his reelection unless Trump can win those voters back, which is unlikely.

Media still pounding out that Biden's age is an issue. What is interesting is his main opponent, who would have been a freshman when Biden was a senior in highschool, age is not presented as a meaningful issue. Also voters on average estimate Biden to be in his late 80's while Trump is in his early 70's. There is no real meaningful difference in their age though realistically with Biden merely being three years older. And only one of those two seemed to think a dementia test was an intelligence test. And only one of the two is facing going to prison for the rest of his life.

I can't see how Biden takes the next election unless they can essentially keep him out of the media. The guy is ina fairly rapid decline, mentally.

That doesn't mean I have any sentiment about Trump, just the world is getting pretty dicey and havinh a president with dementia is not a great idea.
It's also odd how few of his obvious brain fades make it to the media.

RFK Jr has the same odds are winning the election as I do, so you are left with Biden or Trump. You pick Trump here you get Trump as president. Can't wait to see how you all justify Trump's 10 to 15 trillion dollar spending plan is worth investing in, when people whined like crazy about Biden's infrastructure spending that was a fraction of the cost, and far more beneficial.

Of course 10 to 15 trillion is a conservative number.  If Trump creates his crime ending police force, that number could soar as high as 30 trillion, and cost the US several trillion a year in upkeep.

I also am loving how conservative seems to forget they are the ones running Trump and demanding that democrats remove Biden and run someone else to lead the country. Like if you want someone else to lead the country fucking elect someone that is not Trump as your candidate. This is not rocket science. Dems get to pick someone, and we picked Biden. Also now with several of Trump's former lawyers all testifying against him, US needs to really get prepared for a president running the country that cannot leave his property.  If convicted very likely Trump will be limited to Mar-A-Lago and not allowed to freely travel even if he wins the presidency.

Georgia and DC will have trials before 2024 it appears and no one is prepared to go to jail for Trump so they will flip very fast if it is on the table.

Trump getting hammered in the Colorado ballot case. Based on the judge's interpretation so far, he seems to be laying out that no one has any right to appear on the ballet because states do not have to assign electoral votes by an election constitutionally. This would mean the Sec of State can disqualify candidates for any reason.

If this hits the Supreme Court before the election gonna be really interesting to see how they rule, as most of the court should side with barring Trump, since they been arguing states control their own elections as they see fit. If they rule against that, then congress can pass election reform laws federalizing elections.

Trump just told his supporters they do not have to vote. I do not want to hear shit about Biden's mental fitness.

New Hampshire plans to defy the DNC and hold their primary before South Carolina. As a result Biden will not be on the nomination. Voters will have to write him in. Results may not count at the convention either.

Senate map stabilizing. West Virginia most certainly flipping giving GOP likely 50 as a floor. Arizona, Ohio and Montana are true swings that will likely determine how much the GOP controls the Senate with. For Dems to take control they will need those three and to knock off Cruz or Scott. Both possible, but not expected. GOP looking to try to pick up Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan and Penn. The rest seem stable.

As of now Montana is leaning left, Ohio right. Arizona is nearly unpredictable as it is a three-way race that Sinema does not seem really interested in winning.  Almost certain she plans to lose then move into lobbying.

Now that speaker Johnson opened the door for it, Dems may push for independent cognitive assessments with publically released results for presidential nominees. Will face extremely fierce backlash from Trump, and likely lawsuits. Which makes it interesting that only one party seems to be absolutely against the idea entirely, and that is the one accusing the other side of having dementia, while also claiming to be one of the smartest people alive for passing a dementia screening.

Still love too that if Biden does suffer from dementia, the GOP is also being routinely deceived and tricked (their words) by a man with dementia.

Dean Phillips announced he will primary Biden and ignoring DNC rulings about New Hampshire so he wins the Dem NH primary that the DNC is not recognizing.

By running for president he will not be able to defend his house seat.

Colorado disqualification trial for Trump starts. If successful, Trump will be barred from the ballet in the state, and likely dozens of other states will seeks to remove him from the ballets. This would include from the primaries brining absolute chaos to the GOP primary.

This has only been done once before in the modern era, and it was by the group that did this lawsuit and they were successful. However it was against a convicted Jan 6th rioter.

Legal experts are saying this really could go either way based on pre-trial motions.

Minnesota and Michigan already have similar suits.

Trump's legal team is not involved it seems in this case and outsourced it to a local group only and forcing the state GOP to foot the bill to keep him on the ballot.

Trump's lawyers arguing he could not have been guilty of insurrection because there are multiple meanings of insurrection therefore no meaning of insurrection legally.  Which then would make that section of the 14th legally invalid.  Brave move arguing sections of the constitution were written not to be legally enforceable.  

And Trump's lawyer claiming now that the Jan 6th report was not factual. Which is also arguing essentially that the House of Rep should not be a source for truth claims. While also introducing a member of the House to make truth claims.

Also claiming there was no violence on Jan 6th.

Massive Dont Vote movement starting in socialist spaces. Seen it in several places this week where people will just sit out the election entirely because Biden supports Israel. Minnesota supreme court hearing started to determine if Trump qualifies to be on the ballots in their state.

After Jordan's people threatened his wife during the speaker fight, Ken Buck will not run for re-election and is burning down the House on the way out saying the GOP no longer knows how to lead and ruined by MAGA.

Not 2024, but next week it looks like Presley can win Mississippi, taking the state back by democrats for the first time in 20 years. Once an outsider, he managed to close the gap to 1 percent and well within the margin of error to make a win possible.

This is a bellwether race for 2024. If dems can take Mississippi it does not bode well for Trump in swing states or the GOP agenda.  

Beshear projected to win Kentucky, giving them a dem gov. This was a bellwether race for Biden.

Other early results coming in today show that Ohio will add a constitutional right to abortion. Trump is still running on abortion bans. For @ness looking like that legal weed is going to pass as well.

Despite all of the Biden is fucked messaging coming, country is showing they are not down with the GOP, particularly the MAGA side.

Also Moms for Liberty suffered a near blowout in their attempt to start taking over school boards. Was a lot of cash behind this attempt to control school boards and given they made no progress, it is unsure if more will come in 2024.

Mississippi election under review. Seems there was a wide scale shortage of ballots in urban black districts forcing people to vote on alternative ballots. Also lead to delays lasting hours as people tried to figure out what to do when the ballots ran out.

Trump teasing he is considering Tucker for VP. God I hope does. Tucker's ego will make it hard to decline, but then he will have to kiss the asses of people he refers to as cousin fucking terrorists.

Trump picking a VP gonna be interesting as MTG, Kari Lake and others act as if they are getting the spot, so I expect once a VP is picked there will be nasty ass fights.

Three more polls this week found Trump is leading in all four swing states.

Yup about four points, but there is a wide margin of error still.

Dem voters acting like polls are not accurate and this is not a problem because just like in 2016 America would never elect someone like Trump.

Trump meanwhile says if he wins he will prosecute the Biden admin.

For people not following the big picture also chance Trump comes in with a mandate and controls the House and Senate as well.  Senate going to the GOP almost certainly, and House is a real toss-up as few seats now are competitive.  

Attitude of course still of dems is it is year before the election and anything can happen.

GOP base is rallying around Tucker as VP. Well outside of all of the people who were sucking up to him to be VP.

Also 7 times now in recent rallies Trump referred to Obama as the current president.  Good thing he is three years younger than Biden and fully aware of what is going on around him.
