There is still a democratic primary. No is polling high enough with primary voters to be considered actual competition though so it is basically a formality. Registered republicans do not vote in the democratic primary, and RFK Jr's base are republicans. Primary debates against an incumbent are not traditionally done in the US.

Trump challenged Biden to take a fitness test. Biden should call his bluff and set up an independent test just to see what excuses Trump will use to dodge it. No way he gets accessed independently where tell him he is not the most physically fit man to ever hold the presidency but instead morbidly obese and that he is of below average cognitive ability.

Part of Trump term 2 will be another corporate tax cuts. His advisers want him to go to at least 15% and if possible 10%. Current rate is the historic low of 21%, down from 35% before Trump's first term.

Given Trump is also a reckless spender, this likely means a massive middle class tax hike.

David McCormick will run for the Penn Senate seat for the GOP. Just as in when he lost the primary to Oz in 2022, he is still a resident of CT. Seems the GOP cannot find someone who lives in Penn to elect.

Gonna fun to see his defense as his real lawyers keep quitting and the replacements are all quack lawyers without real experience in high profile cases. Be like NYC again where they made arguments that work in the court of public opinion, but lacked legal merit.

So GOP all shared pictures of Trump buying a gun today. Which is would be a violation of his bail agreements and a criminal act. Some recanted fast but not all. Trump's team trying to shut down any more primary debates so he does not get attacked at them despite not being there. His advisers are basically saying he already won so everyone now should attack Biden instead of running in the primary at all.

Rep Barry Moore (GOP-AL) saying he may not run for reelection now that his district needs to in include black voters as ruled by the supreme court, twice.

Should AL follow the Supreme Court's now two rulings on gerrymandering in AL, GOP losing their advantage in the House.

3rd quarter fundraising seeing Biden up 2-1 on Trump. And Trump's fundraising also supports his legal bills, while Biden's go entirely to the election.

Current Democratic caucus member RFK Jr will be a featured speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference, aka CPAC. He will join Trump, Haley, MTG, Gaetz, Boebert and Bannon in talking about the future of conservative politics. Believe he will also be included in the straw poll of most popular conservative presidential candidates.

Believed this will also be where the announces he will no longer be running as a democratic and will run as an independent in the general election, which would mean then he is running against the conservative candidates.

Do you think there is any chance RFK and Trump could become a single ticket? It would be a solid plan for Kennedy as Trump can only have one more term and he would be well placed to step in from VP.

If Trump takes on RFK Jr, he loses corporate funding entirely. Big businesses fucking hate RFK Jr as he sued them all and cost them billions. GE, Exxon, Nestie, Monsanto, Mobil, etc. He also spits in the face of the GOP by basically telling them that only person worth having as his VP is a democrat. MTG would also lose her shit not being selected making the house uncontrollable.  She also may know damaging things about Trump's role in Jan 6th.

RFK Jr is funded almost entirely right now by Bannon, and I suspect that money is gone as of today. His plan backfired hard, and Bannon will now likely spent to clean up his mess and attack RFK Jr as a socialist using his environmental record. No Labels I expect to attach to RFK Jr, in exchange for him dropping the antivax talk entirely. If he does not, then this time next year, the majority of America will forget he is even running as he has no backers. His core supporters are QANON, and they not known for having cash, and spent all they had on Trump for the last 6 years. No Dem groups back him, and no conservative groups outside of Bannon's team support him. Corporations hate him for killing their projects or suing them, and everyday people are not donating to him as they prefer Trump or Biden anyway. His sole hope is No Labels, and even they may not attach since they do not want to be seen as a antivax group or QANON group.

Also dems would love it if RFK Jr was the pick as in 2016 he campaigned for Obama and Biden and nothing better than having your opponent's VP on video talking you up as incumbent.  Also Kennedy is extremely easy to attack for his conspiracy views, like vaccines causing autism, that HIV does not cause AIDS and the like.  Also can straight out air him claiming the top current GOP donors subverted democracy to steal the 2000 and 2004 elections and are destroying the world.

For me, Trump picking RFK Jr as his VP is about the best thing that could happen to democrats.

The truth is somewhere between what you said and the other. It’s not just five swing states, but it doesn’t have to be California to make that true. Michigan is still a swing state. There are districts that vote in Maine and in Nebraska that could still potentially swing. North Carolina has gotten closer every election to flipping. If a third candidate effects either of the major parties then other states will become attractive.

No Labels does not appear to be interested in RFK Jr. Larry Hogan still considering running for the group.

As for the map it depends on how many people.  RFK Jr is irrelevant as he only has support from one party.  Hogan runs then things get far weirder.

Whether Mich or NC some into play as swing states, depends on the definition of swing states.  Some models consider them swing states, others lean states.  They are not 100% in a direction yet, but also not unpredictable.  Georgia no one knows which way it will go until the votes are counted and margin of victory expected to be razor thin.  Michigan and NC will likely have winners are not in dispute. 

At least in the next election.  2028 I suspect will be very difficult to call with a non-Trump and non-Obama related candidate.  Should kick off a new party system too, as the Obama / Trump era will likely be its own short party system or sub-system.  

Fox just ripped apart Kennedy in an interview claiming bringing up him claiming the NRA is a terrorist group, and him supporting Bernie, Obama and even Hillary against Trump.

Kenny now moving from Biden will not debate him, to Trump smearing him.

One thing is clear, he cannot hold his own against the right.  With his speech disorder they can similar speak over him and effectively silence him.
