Ads out in several states from GOP candidates promoting to 12 to 15 week abortion bans. They really are doing it and running on abortion.

Some swing state GOP groups having trouble raising cash on the state level. Many of the state groups have been locked in court for years after challenging the elections for trump supporters, then defending his lawyers in court, drained most of their savings. Now they are finding some former big donors are not giving to them anymore because they for the last four year their candidates claim fraud when they lose.

Going into the 2020 election at this time Arizona had 770k. They have only 50k now. Michigan had 116k. Two years back they were at 867k. Arizona legal bills were 300k last year. Michigan only raising a quarter of what they expected to raise, Arizona a third. In both states donors have stated they want support candidates, not legal bills related to Trump (or Lake).

Not having statewide functional GOP groups in two major swing states gonna hurt the GOP.

Meanwhile DeSantis is having trouble campaigning as he hilariously cannot connect with real people. He has an aid around that pokes him when he should laugh and wears these ugly fucking white wading books everywhere to try to appear like a working man. Trump is being advised by his close advisers to not debate. DeSantis is under 20% of the vote, and everyone else is struggling to hit 5. For Trump all that will happen if he debates is he risks losing support, while he loses really nothing by not showing up. Instead they suggest CNN give him another town hall the week of the debate.

DeSantis may be preparing to drop out of the election. His polls plummeted, his fundraising slowed to a crawl and now he is purging staff to reduce costs. At best DeSantis is at 20% compared to Trump's 50%. His sole way to win is to cut into Trump and take all of the voters not voting for him right now. He has also been at 20% mow for three months and none of his ads or events moved the dial.

First debate should clear the field greatly, as those who do not qualify are likely to drop.


Cat's out of the bag about RFK Jr's largest donors, all are Republicans.  Murdoch also keeps him on Fox News as they don't expect him to win the primary, but they hope he can weaken Biden.

Manchin did a speech for No Labels in New Hampshire. Whether he runs or not he is going through the motions of an early campaign.

As the first debate nears, the RNC is getting increasingly frustrated with Trump refusal to take part in the debates saying he already won. Trump's treatment of them makes it clear he controls the party, not the RNC.

First debate is on Aug. 23 presented by Fox.  Trump claims he will not take part in a debate put on by the lying liberal media.  Fox is literally begging him on air to take part.  

Trump as previously noted Trump said like Biden, he has no real competition so he has no reason to take part in the primary debates and his time would be better spent doing other things.  His opponents claim he is scared to debate them.  He also points out that Fox is a failing network that needs him in the debate to get anyone to watch it.

If Trump refuses to show up, RNC likely to limit the debates greatly they sanction, as it will be very clear Trump is beyond their control.  A third party will have to set up more debates, which the RNC will advise all candidates against attending.



On the Dem side, tactics have changed from ignoring RFK to putting him on blast and attacking him outright.  While he has many defenders of late, almost none are democrats or people in liberal spaces.  Breaking point was him claiming that COVID was designed not to affect the Jews (or Chinese) in his congressional testimony that COVID was a Chinese bioweapon to be used against the west.  Once he started the antisemitic attacks, gloves came off.   

For polls general polls show him polling at 20%, with him polling at 40% with republicans for who should be the democratic nomination.  But again, registered republicans cannot vote for the democratic candidate.

Climate change becoming more and more an issue for the next election. This year is seeing a very high number of tornadoes, a historic heatwave, severe drought and is preparing for what is expected to be a really bad hurricane season. Last year we had cold snaps that froze people to death and fires. Even the media has come around to reported these events are climate change related. And more and more are being personally effected by these events in red states.

Trump campaign facing problems. He still has no paid some places for his 2019 and 2020 rallies and now he is trying to return they are telling him pay his back bills or authorization for his current rallies will be denied. Many places he owns around 30k for police security and rally costs. No they demand repayment of past due bills and cash up front if wants to speak.

DeSantis said he will consider appointing RFK Jr as head of the CDC or FBI if he wins. Best endorsement he could give.

Shit hit the fan this week and GOP may end up losing the Black Republican Caucus entirely.

Under Florida instruction it is promoted that slavery was beneficial to slaves as it taught them much needed vocational skills. DeSantis echoed this in statements. Black Republicans are absolutely outraged and demand this is changed. White Republicans response been to side with DeSantis with Murdoch supporting this on Fox and in all his papers. Also they pushed for this to be the way slavery is taught nationally, that it was mostly a benefit to slaves.  

After making statements about how it was Ron to make these comments about slavery, white republicans said the black republican caucus was out of line and went hard after Tim Scott, saying he was trying to bring wokeness to education and was trying to make education political.  

Gonna be interesting to see what they do moving forward. Clear most of the party sides with DeSantis. But the slavery issue cuts to the bone to the black community and they may have just basically lost that communities vote entirely regardless of who wins the primary. And some Republicans in congress may not be Republicans much longer.

Seems like being black is not gonna be allowed in the GOP for much longer, unless you shut up and do what masta says.

Less than a month away from the first GOP debate, and it appears both Trump and Pence will miss it. Trump supporters do not want him to debate, and Pence still is having trouble getting the support to hit the thresholds. Lot of pressure on most candidates outside of DeSantis and Haley to drop out.

DeSantis hammered the final nail into his campaign. Claims he will allow students to declare bankruptcy on their college loans. This will not only never happen, but the mere suggestion of it, is enough to get most GOP donors to blacklist him for saying it. 2 trillion being wiped out in debt would utterly destroy US investment markets.

It appears his small donor support is almost entirely gone. Many after being screwed by his auto-renewing payments or payment doubling were reported to have started blocking him several years ago. Other feel for scam fake PACs that popped in the the last few years and just never give anymore either.

Yup. He drained that shit down, and is not getting the donations anymore to refill it. Seems donations dropped significantly after indictments started flowing. Not even Hannity and Fox claiming none of the laws Trump was charged with are real is working. Moreso since the charges are reported by the criminal code numbers.

And it seems everyone is realizing Trump is mostly running now to save his ass. He lacks really anything other reason for running as his platform makes no sense, and he will not debate it.

Saw some interesting analysis. It is believed the reason all of the Blue State GOP Govs like Hogan and Sununu stayed out of the election is they believe Trump losing a second time will drag the entire Freedom / Hard Right side of the GOP down with them. They can then run in 2028 on a return to normality with a focus on neocon policy and dump most of the social shit that GOP lobbies care about that GOP do not, like abortion bans, anti-trans laws or the woke wars. A case will be made that the right needs policy and platform and not theatrics and lies. So a neocon will run on detailed economic platform and likely destroy the field. And they are willing wait to see Trump destroy the credibly of himself and his most loyal supporters, and take eight more of Biden, because he is closer to their views than Trump is.

Trump's campaign calendar mixed with his court cases. This is based on current information, more cases are still to come and more dates.  Currently at three criminal and three civil suits.  Georgia still not chimed in.  And Smith has not wrapped up his investigation yet.

DeSantis facing a donor revolt. His largest donors demand he shifts his platform to a moderate one or they are done funding him. They claim his current platform is unelectable. This represents a large enough group of donors to damn his run if he does not comply.

GOP sued the Biden admin and are claiming allowing forbearance for public work and that allowing anything less than full payment to count as qualified payment are not legal.

They get their way, the GI bill's educational program is likely also unconstitutional as these were all policies introduced in that bill.  This also will apply to vocational programs that use the US college loan system.
