- Unsurprisingly AR Fox and Swerve delivered, even if it does break my heart seeing them feud (as I loved the pairing in Lucha Underground), I blame Willie Mack for not keeping the group together. Joking aside, it's great to see them still working together, on as big a stage as AEW, you love to see it.

- MJF vs. Daniel Garcia on Dynamite? Oh, that is going to be good. Speaking of MJF, I love his feud with Bullet Club Gold, it's one of my favorite things going on in wrestling today.

- Forget The Elite, Bullet Club Gold truly runs AEW, Austin and Colton Gunn have been absolutely on fire since joining BC Gold, and have stepped up their game big time.

- The Kingdom made quick work of these jabronies, and it was a thing of beauty.

- I liked Darby Allin/Lance Archer for what it was, which is to say it was neither bad nor all that great, but still good for what it was. Actually, if I'm being honest, I expected more from Archer early on in AEW, I thought the pairing with Jake Roberts was a great idea, and considering the majority of the AEW roster, is on the smaller side, feel like he should have been booked as an unstoppable monster.

- The Righteous paired up with Jake "The Snake" Roberts? OK, I'm intrigued.

- Skye Blue sighting. :love:

- I didn't care for either of the six-man tag team matches.

- Emi Sakura is great, that is all.

- Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Swerve Strickland on Dynamite is gonna be a banger.

- A fantastic and at times chaotic eight-man tag team main event, a great end to a great show.

- Overall, this was another great episode of Collision, I wasn't super into the two trios matches, but I enjoyed the rest of the show. As far as AEW's three weekly shows go, this was easily my favorite of the week.

The Gunns have really grown up before our eyes remember back in the day all they really did was be overzealous audience members in the pandemic. And also thought Archer would have a bigger role in AEW. It doesn't have to be the world but a run with some AEW singles title.

Collision is being pre-taped Friday night and it was just announced that Adam Copeland, Sting & Darby Allin will be teaming up to face Lance Archer & The Righteous.

Huge match but uhhh…you’re gonna start off your brand new monster stable with a loss? Or is Archer & The Righteous actually going to upset this team and hand Sting his first ever defeat in AEW?

Come on Righteous, lead Edge to the light.  Tony should have dusted off Gangrel for this.

Bryan Danielson just announced that 2024 will be his last year as a full-time competitor.

Afterwards CJ Perry announced that Andrade el Idolo is the 2nd entrant in the Continental Classic tournament.

Malakai randomly start wearing facepaint again. And funny with commercials cut a promo from members of the undercard twice.

He only went without it once or twice. Likely while his facial hair was still growing back after he used the wrong razor guard.

I loved the meaty exchange between King & Kingston. Heck of a match.

Kinda glad Claudio/Brody went on first. That was the CC match I was least looking forward to. Looked like it was ok but pretty much what I expected.

Glad to see Abadon back. Someone tell Shotzi this is how you do a crazy screamy gimmick.

Page vs Omega in Canada should be fun.

Eddie wins out. However he ends with 9 points which ties Danielson, but he ends up 2nd because Danielson has the tiebreaker from winning tonight. Eddie is beside himself after giving up his titles and on the outside looking in for the finals.

Gold bracket ends up winner take all between Swerve and Moxley. Swerve wins and goes on to beat Danielson in the finals. Swerve has his first title defence at Revolution in Greensboro against the man that made all this happen, Eddie Kingston. Their match makes the Deathmatch with Hangman look like an episode of Teletubbies.

Would love to see Eddie and Swerve do a deathmatch. It would be fucking brutal.

Someone explain to me why Lana (sorry I don't know her AEW name) is hanging out with Andrade? What happened to Miro? Injured again?

She wants to manage and Miro doesn't want one. Pretty much when the pretty girl uses the main character to make her boyfriend jealous episode.

And anyone Lana targets to manage Miro comes out and destroys. It is a neat way to setup any match really with Miro.

There's a little more nuance to this that was left out. Yes, Miro didn't want a manager. Yes, Lana is using Andrade to make Miro jealous. Yes, up until she started managing Andrade, Miro was kicking the shit out of anyone that dared look at her.

But Miro hasn't been seen in weeks, and it's because Andrade is competing in the Continental Classic. There is a rule in place that anyone who interferes in a Continental Classic match will be fired immediately. You aren't even allowed to have people at ringside. It's why Daddy Magic had to stay behind the announcer's table during Daniel Garcia's last match, and why BCG has to stay backstage during Jay White's matches, etc.

The very second Andrade is done his Continental Classic matches, the horns are going to sound and Miro is going to pummel Andrade into the ground. Their ensuing feud is going to have weeks of build that Miro wasn't even present for and it's really clever imo. And it is in Andrade's best interest to make it as far as he can in the tournament for two reasons: 1) win the first ever AEW Triple Crown and 2) avoid Miro's wrath for as long as he can.

Still hoping Andrade calls in LFI to take out Miro during their inevitable match.

That's an awesome rule and should be a company wide institution, never mind just for a tournament.

That rule should have never existed, but it does bring up a point by Emperor. The company really can never again blame a match being ruin by outside interference when they have a way to 100% stop it.

Andrade beat Danielson. After the match Danielson worked an injury to his eye. Andrade targeted it all match, ripped off his eye patch and busted him open. They played it off like Danielson was actually hurt as a way to give Andrade the win and give Danielson a handicap going forward in the tournament.

Good. At least it would force AEW to be more creative. I've long been sick of interference being used as a crutch, for every single heel victory, feud starter, etc. Obviously it's not going to change as it's a staple of US pro-wrestling. One can dream.

Just got around to Andrade vs Bryan Danielson. Holy shit that was a brutal match.

The reaction 2.0. got in Montreal made me very happy.
