Andrade El Idolo vs. Bryan Danielson was incredible, throw in Castagnoli/Kingston, plus Omega/Page, and Collision was a fantastic episode this past Saturday.

I'm looking forward to Andrade El Idolo/Claudio Castagnoli on tonight's Collision, it's definitely (IMHO) the most interesting match on the card.

Thunder Rosa's returning next week!

She and Abadon are gonna team up, to face Julia Hart and Skye Blue.

It's great to see Thunder Rosa back.

Castagnoli/El Idolo was great stuff, as entertaining as I expected it to be. Andrade has been fantastic since returning with the launch of Collision, if there is one guy who has benefitted from a second two-hour show it's him. I love this round-robin tournament, just so many bangers one after another. I have no idea how the finals will play out at Worlds End, but I would be down for either Swerve/Danielson, or Swerve/El Idolo.

Edit: The tag team street fight was good fun for what it was. Although, you would think that would be the kind of match, you save for a PPV (like the one in two weeks).

I'm glad Thunder Rosa is back. RT must be happy too.

Claudio vs Danielson was incredible. A wonderful battle, true BCC spirit. William Regal would be proud. I'd like to see them go at it with no time limit.

Daniel Garcia vs Brody King was also incredible. They told a great story, Garcia played an amazing underdog. I'm not a fan of the FTR vs House of Black story but the way they transitioned into it was effective.

Wrestling fatigue arrived so I only caught the finish of Andrade vs Kingston. I'm glad Kingston won.

Collision was wild tonight and if you didn’t watch it you should.

-Jon Moxley beat Shane Taylor in a surprisingly good match. Taylor wagging his finger while in the Bulldog Choke was dope. After the match Mox told the AEW locker room to “keep up.”

-Adam Copeland’s open challenge was answered by Dante Martin. Match was very good. Copeland won then told Tony Schiavone that he would keep accepting challengers until he took the TNT title from Christian.

-Thunder Rosa vs Queen Aminata was solid. Rosa looks as good as ever and Queen Aminata will be a champion in AEW or ROH one day soon. Mark my words.

-Daniel Garcia beat Buddy Matthews and the match fucking rocked. Afterwards they announced a blow off match between House of Black and FTR/Garcia for Collision next week…IN A STEEL CAGE.

-The Bang Bang Gang also showed up with their ROH Six Man titles. They also brought out Rock Card Juice Robinson. Then The Acclaimed walked in and asked it they had given any thought to the Bang Bang Scissor Gang…which BCG accepted! New faction formed (which will ultimately end with a unification trios match..)

-Roderick Strong vs Matt Sydal was fine. Nice to give Sydal a homecoming.

-Eddie Kingston & Ortiz faced Danielson & Claudio, and lost. Afterwards Danielson spit on Kingston. I think another Continental Crown match is coming.

Then as the show closed they announced matches for Dynamite…

Anyone kind of confused about the cage match like I am? It's an "Escape The Cage Elimination Match." How does that work? You have to abandon your team in order to win? Like why wouldn't HOB just throw Garcia out of the cage then beat the shit out of FTR 3-on-2 for a while then leave? I'm really interested to see how this match plays out.

To be honest, I already thought they had a partnership, from when Mistico showed up, to fight Rocky Romero on that one Rampage episode. Either way, I'm glad it has been re-confirmed, as I enjoy watching both promotions, so for me, this is an absolute win.

I think it's hilarious that they announced this partnership after Andrade left the company.

Kind of has the WCW glory days feel, showcasing cruiserweights and lucha wrestlers. I dig it. Should get some fun matches out of it if nothing else.

Oh, I completely agree, it most def has that WCW lucha vibe, and I'm all for it.

So that didn't take long, as far as bringing over the CMLL luchadors, I noticed all four of the guys in the video package, have done work with New Japan as well, so I'm going to be optimistic that we'll see both Soberano Jr., as well as Titan at some point. Both Mistico and Volador Jr. are lucha legends, and Mascara Dorada (2.0) is a talented twenty-two-year-old as well, so whatever they have planned for next week's Rampage should be fun stuff. Also, not trying to throw shade at Hechicero or anything, it's just that he's my least favorite of the four men, still though like I said it should be fun stuff.

Moving on, that steel cage main event match was enjoyable, as well as the whole pre-match beatdown, that proceeded it.

Fun cage match. A good way to get DG another noteworthy win.

Hechicero vs Bryan Danielson absolutely fucked. Watch it.

Kingston vs Keith wasn’t bad either. Worth your time.

Oh also Hechicero’s entrance is fucking incredible.

Bryan Danielson vs. Hechicero, was fantastic, not surprising given the talent. I'm looking forward to Blackpool COmbat Club vs. Team CMLL on Dynamite, although after that post-match attack, I'd love to see Claudio vs. Hechicero, in one-on-one action.

Lucha libre wrestlers are normally auto-skip, but El Hechicero is impressive indeed. Just when you think you've seen it all, Hechicero busts out not one move I've never seen before, but like five of 'em.

I didn't think the match was amazing, a lot of the grappling transitions looked pretty slow and not as smooth as I would expect. Perhaps a language barrier thing. But Hechicero has certainly been put on the map.

Yeah, Hechicero has some of the coolest submissions. Would see Quack bust some of them out in Chikara as one offs, but many only Hechicero does.

I so hope this leads to Hechicero vs ZSJ at a future AEW PPV. No clue how well they will mesh as it is two very different styles they work, but I suspect they can work magic together.

Hobbs looked amazing tonight. Beat the hell out of Sammy.

I love that Eddie is breaking his most hated enemy's will to gain their respect—1st Claudio, now Byran.

Thinking Bryan wants to do the Claudio / Eddie feud from Chikara in AEW taking Claudio's place. His insane promo on Eddie and the handshake deal reeks of it.

Bringing some of the best out of Bryan.
