Imagine this election decides the fate of Israel. Both Harris and Trump want the war over, but Harris wants a two party state and peace talks, Trump a one party state and Israel breaking the back of Gaza until Hamas surrenders unconditionally.

My mom works for a Jewish based organization but half to 2/3 of the staff are not Jewish. They had a meeting discussing sensitivity around the war and one lady she worked with said 'anyone who speaks against Israel is Anti-Semitic' and I vehemently disagree with that statement. I told her that lady is no better that the extremists on the other side.

Imagine not being able to voice concern towards actions taken by your government or country. That's called a dictatorship.

It's very much what's happening here. To speak out or show any criticism of Israel's actions in Gaza, you are automatically deemed anti-semitic by many. That's the truth and that's what had been happening to a lot of people.

There's rhetoric, bullshit even.. sure, and there's been some God awful behaviour and language directed at Jews since the beginning of this war. But that's those minority voices or extremists exposing their ugly heads. Most of the language, is criticism towards the Israeli leadership, as, regardless of ideology or religion, Israel is burning Gaza to the ground. Indiscriminately.

That shouldn't go unchecked despite some justification for the October attacks.. remembering this didn't start in 2023, it's an old feud with a lot of twists and turns.
