I think the Panthers win tonight. Eberlus explaining that Fields is doubtful and out was my reasoning to it.

If the Bills lose on MNF to Denver I might actually not watch anymore football this year.

That's what I feel about my Panther team after tonight.  The fucking state of them.

A lot of reporting on the Chiefs defense this week after the Miami game. My favorite hit is the overheard quote last year from two to rookie DB’s saying they had won the Super Bowl without understanding the system so imagine how good they’d be this year when they knew it.

Some random bright spots:

The Chiefs have the youngest snap adjusted defense in the league.
They’re 5th in defensive dvoa against the 11th toughest defensive strength of schedule
They have the third cheapest defense in the league with almost 50% of that tied up in two players (Jones and Reid)
They’ve done it by drafting athleticism with Leo Chenal, L’Jarius Sneed, Willie Gay, Trent McDuffie, and George Karlaftis all grading as elite athletes before their drafts.

All that to say if the Chiefs can somehow keep Jones this off-season, they’ve opened up a new championship window with Mahomes and an elite defense.

One of the funniest endings I had ever seen. Mac benched and Zappe does a fake spike and throws it straight to a Colt to end the game.

That late INT Mac Jones threw might have been the worst pass I have ever seen. He lobbed it like he was playing catch with his kid. It was nowhere near the receiver and the Colts player looked genuinely surprised after be caught the ball.

Texans should be up by more than 3 at the half but their early season red zone struggles have returned. Still a very good half of football from them. Defense has swarmed Burrow and the Bengals cannot stop Stroud moving the ball.

Such a great day the defense looks a bit better!

Texans just went deep on 3rd and 3 when a first down would have meant close to end of game. Peculiar call from Slowik. This came after Stroud threw a terrible INT.

The Texans have not been good in the big moments today.

Ridiculous drops in the Texans game. Boyd drops a touchdown catch that would have given the Bengals the lead. Dell drops a first down ball under no pressure at all.

Texans back up kicker wins it after Stroud shrugs off his INT and leads them down the field. Should have been much easier. Had over 500 yards total offense. But still a huge win for the Texans, who as I’ve said before, don’t have a particularly tough schedule and aren’t in a particularly unforgiving division, and now sit at 5-4.

I think he’s in the MVP conversation now. It’s been a quieter year for the top quarterbacks and it’s a quarterback award. I think he’s got an outside chance if he keeps this up. Texans might have to win 12 games but that’s not impossible by a long shot.

As a rookie I'm just seeing a better quarterback than most in the NFL today, out of all of the other hyped up young guys from the last few years I'm just seeing a better product here in his 9th overall game in the league already, the poise, patience, focus, accuracy, touch now the game winning drives the last 2 weeks the clutch is there already. What are we seeing here? When was the last comparable rookie QB season like this?

First team to get a stop in Lions/Chargers probably wins.

Great weekend for Bears nation. They beat Carolina so they get a better shot to not finish last in the division(Packers), own the Panthers pick and now the Cards won a game.

That Giants/Patriots game will be the fight for the 2nd pick, going to be amazing how bad that game will be. They call it the Drake Maye sweepstakes. 

Great slate of finishes in both windows.

Can't wait to see Allen Lazard and the New York Jets tonight. Been waiting all week to see this magician of a WR catch balls.

Billy Turner must have gotten hurt last Monday and won't be subjected to play again for this O-Line so Jets will have Max Mitchell try and hold the other and much better Maxx......good luck.
