I would say if Rodgers was getting in this game than yeah but I don't get it either. Jets do get a lot of ratings and watches whenever they play though but I don't know if I can tolerate Aikman calling a Jets game, he just seems miserable due to their inept offense whenever he calls a game of ours. 

Call me old school but I LOVE the 1PM Sunday games. The best timeslot ever. Jets were bad for a few years so we always have 1PM games for a majority of the time so I got used to it. Think it's primetime overload.

Jets still have a Friday game with Miami AND a Thursday game with Cleveland, the team is legit going to have played a game 4/7 days of the week!

I get what Neo Zeed , is saying. Deshaun Watson was my favorite QB coming out of college since Vince Young. I remember they were calling him the next MJ and he WAS doing all the right things. But what separates Deshaun Watson from guys like Russell Wilson has nothing to do with being in his early 20s. It’s because the money changed him and turned him into a demon. I feel like he went from the good nerdy guy chasing the dream, won a National Championship, became beloved and then got money, fame and bitches and grew this God complex where he felt untouchable. I don’t even know if he “turned” into a demon or just always had it in him.

He’s a bad person. I don’t feel sorry for him and age is not an excuse. There’s 22 year olds fighting in the military. 22 is not a child. Money made him feel untouchable. That Molestor is the real Deshaun Watson.

There have been enough anecdotes on the internet that make the idea that this suddenly started when he got rich impossible to believe unless you have your head buried in the sand.

Defending him in any capacity immediately makes you wrong. He's a gross dude who ruined countless women's lives and hasn't shown a shred of remorse because he still doesn't think he did anything wrong, and was enabled by a sports league because he's a good athlete. Cleveland deserves to eat shit on this but don't forget that there were numerous other teams who were more than willing to have him on their roster.

Mate, he had all that and every possible system in place. He's getting paid $230 Million and when that should have all blown up in his face after he was charged for 23 counts of assault, he got a massive slap on the wrist.

Don't feel bad for him, feel bad for the other 20s somethings who manage to listen to new rap, still manage to be upstanding citizens and don't get blessed with the talent and the opportunities Deshaun did. The game is poorer because of Deshaun, not because new rap taught him to sniff his finger.

In general, I do take your point on young offenders and the whole criminal justice system shares that position. However that doesn't apply here and while it's unfortunate for the Browns, Deshaun still gets paid and he'll still be back next year.

I don’t want to pile on here, and I know as a Texans fan we had a whole lot of hope and excitement for the future tied up in Deshaun Watson, but I just find it difficult to have any sympathy at all for him. I think if you look at the nature of his charges, he was quite calculated about what he did. And his lack of remorse is a huge hurdle to any redemption that he thinks he may be entitled to down the line. Ultimately this is a guy who went around massage parlours assaulting women, and society’s answer was to give him a $230m guaranteed contract to play football. Ask yourself if that’s really a sympathetic position.

Clearly some misreading going on here if anybody got me defending the kid out of those posts. And no I didn't follow every detail about whatever he did I posted that. Somewhere in there while this was all unfolding he just decided he didn't want to live or play in Houston anymore that was the jumpoff point for me. I predicted while he was still here he would come back and struggle, get hurt, then be out of the sport quick. Somebody as dumb as him with 230 million never turns out good probably more of a curse.

Sometimes the thoughts don’t come out on the keyboard accurately wasn’t defending anything about him but I can’t root against him and cheer for him to fail like he’s a villain all I can do is feel sad towards the story as a whole because there was potential there for this kid to he something special if y’all just need bad guys and villains to celebrate failure and choose to see things from only your own perspective more power to you.

I don't hold Watson accountable so much as fully blame his people/advisors for continuing to enable his actions to get some gold out of the pot. Where is his agent telling him this is a terrible idea? Where is Quincy Avery or his yesmen to guide him right? Yes he's old enough and is a grown man but sometimes, people just need to be shaken up to wake up and his friends didn't help him until it was too late.

I took the side of defense for him initially given the Texans had such terrible P.R. from the owner to Easterby but there was way too many cracks with how many women came forward and Watson and his team kept doubling down.

It's a collective effort as to why Watson went one from a face of the NFL to one of the most loathed. Not just on him but his advisors. Given CJ Stroud has the same agent as Deshaun Watson, hopefully Stroud doesn't fall under the same path. He seems god fearing and humble thus far so I am liking his chances. Envious as a Jets fan of teams that can draft and develop QBs so easily like the Texans have been able to for these guys.
