Today's the day.  This afternoon, we play the biggest game in the history of western civilization.  Or for this season anyway.

FLY EAGLES FLY!!!

Not really a fan of either of these teams but it's the Super Bowl, the last game before 6-7 months with no football, I'll soak it in and enjoy it. I think Philly is too strong for NE, I'm going 30-21 Eagles.

Until recently I've lived somewhere in New England my entire life, I'll always be a New England fan good, bad or otherwise...I'll always cheer for any sports team NE related. The Eagles have better than a puncher's chance, but I still think Brady hoists #6, with Belichick getting his 8th ring overall as a coach. It'll be close, because it always is...if there's a blowout, it'll most likely come with Philly blowing out NE...I just don't see NE blowing out Philly...I'd love it to happen, but doubt it.

I'm gonna predict a rout.

I’m actually surprised by the thoughts of an Eagles blowout on here. I’m only surprised because I have been telling people that the only way the Eagles win is if they blow out the Patriots. If it’s close, it’ll come down to Foles vs Brady and TB12 will win it. A lot of big bets have been waged for Philly so I’m kind of getting nervous that the Eagles finally win the big one....

.... but CMON MAN!

Tom Brady is the GOAT. Bill Belichick is the GOAT. There’s no way the Patriots lose this one. Tom Brady will continue to be the best to ever play the game and the night will end with another Patriots Super Bowl.

Patriots win 27-23.

This is a tough match-up for the Pats. Eagles have the running game to keep the offense unpredictable, have great edge pressure, great defense and a solid O-line to protect Foles. Jeffrey is also a horrible match-up deep for the Pats if Foles can find him.

But Belichick will Belichick and Brady will Brady.

I dearly hope I'm wrong.

Eagles already guaranteed a victory and it would be the best story, but they're playing right into what BB and TB12 want you to do. I hope every analyst and expert pick the Eagles.

My tradition of not watching any SB pre-game junk continues...I won't flip over until kickoff.

I am going for the Eagles since two high ranking members in my old mmo guild were big Eagles fans. Though the Patriots will probably win.

They will but they've struggled against tall receivers all season, that play looked almost impossible to stop without giving away a penalty.

But, and I say this was a great sigh of cynicism, I would be shocked if Belichick doesn't stop it somehow.

No matter what else happens in this game, the ref laughing at Gronk will be my favorite moment.

Eagles keep blowing coverage like that, they better keep scoring, already at a 1 point deficit if the Pats score.
