Since no one posted about it I just wanted to say that Bears/Lions was the perfect encapsulation of everything that's great about the NFL - we spend forever talking about the quarterbacks and how it's the most important position in any sport - and then you get a game where one QB plays a nearly perfect game and still loses to a guy who plays terribly for 95% of the game.

My favourite play I saw today was Josh Allen throwing an absolute rocket past Sauce before Shakir juked past three Jet defenders and took it the rest of the way for that huge TD. When he's good he's so good.

6-4 Texans vs 7-3 Jaguars for 1st place next week, can’t remember a more meaningful game between these 2 in the 21-22 years they been playing each other. Has to be the first time they ever played a late season game with 1st place on the line.

Stroud has 260+ air yards in his last 3 games. Mahomes has 3 such games in his career. Watson, Allen, Tua and Burrow have 2. Herbert none. That is fucking insane.

I’m hyped my friend. Hopefully get a couple key linebackers back this week and the defense continue to work on some things. A lot of the top seeds in and around the Texans have tough games this week too. This could really be a key week in our season.

Boyle has got to be the poster child for how to carve out a career. Even the worst NFL quarterbacks like your Nathan Peterman's were successful in college, Boyle was even terrible there. 1 TD and 13 interceptions in his first three seasons at UConn, before he transferred and did slightly less bad somewhere else, is one of those surely that can't be correct stats.

They've run the ball a lot better than anyone would have predicted (already more rushing yards than Philly average per game) and they've got a lot of pressure on Hurts (I don't remember ever seeing Lane Johnson give up as many sacks as he has) and whether it's the knee injury or not, Jalen doesn't look comfortable at all when the pocket collapses.
