Jaelan Phillips injury was really the icing on the shit cake - that's a huge blow for Miami who were really starting to see that Fangio defence turn the corner after getting Ramsey back.

He isn't wrong. I could not wait to hear his thoughts and he proved me right. I thought he was too much when he was saying this after tearing his ACL with the 49ers a few seasons ago but he's right. This has to be addressed and in a lost season, I don't blame any player for not wanting to suit up & play on this turf.

You've always been right in saying that the ineptitude isn't all on Wilson, but Boyle sucking equally doesn't justify Wilson being terrible, because he basically shouldn't even be in the league. He only started because the coaching staff had to look like they were doing something.

I don't think they would be a great offence regardless of who is playing quarterback, but they obviously wouldn't be historically bad had they acquired a professional level player. They could have had Josh Dobbs, Carson Wentz, or any decent backup that was available in the offseason but chose not to. They made their own bed. Now it's really just about draft position.
