I like Justin Fields for fantasy purposes, but the dude needs to go. Way too many 4th quarter turnovers by him. The play calling by the Bears was embarrassing tonight. Some High School shit. Screen pass, screen pass, run the ball, run the ball. Just an awful team to watch. Luckily for them, Minnesota played worse.

Your homerism is showing here because he was a nice story, and celebrating fun things like that should never be discouraged, but yes tonight was rough even if he was a bit unlucky with all those tipped interceptions. The ball he threw out of bounds when Addison was wide open was a total diaster.

KOC was already talking post-game about potentially making a change at QB - so I think there's a real possibility that Jaren Hall is back in next week now he's cleared concussion protocol.

I've been as big a Fields defender as anyone but I think tonight was definitely the nail in the coffin for his time in Chicago. Like you said the coaching certainly hasn't helped him, I have no idea what they were thinking with all the short game stuff, the Vikings defence was able to just sit on it because that was all they were calling, but the two fumbles almost cost them a game they had no business losing. He has streaks where you see potential but it's just not there consistently enough.

The Bears defence has forced 8 turnovers over the last two games, and the offence managed to turn that into one sole touchdown. That's just not good enough - it should be a complete reboot for them next season with a new QB and coaching staff.

On another note, the one positive for Chicago is that Montez Sweat trade was a home run, he was great tonight. I will never understand people who complain about trading away draft picks for good players.

I can't believe Evero wasn't made interim HC, he did a great job in Denver last year and kept Carolina in games with the defense. They're gonna lose him after this season. #6 defense in the league but the special teams coach is made interim?

Now that the weekend is over, I wish Jets would inquire with McCown to have him as the QB coach or shit play QB. He can't be worse than Boyle at this point and time. He was a phenomenal mentor for so many QBs.

Celebrating it I agree , calling him the future of the franchise and best or 2nd best quarterback in the division is delusional and ignorant. And it wasn’t just the fans , we are talking about Vikings professional broadcasters. So homerism maybe but I’ll take joy in being right when I promised it was a fluke and he’d turn back into a pumpkin.

You can say trusting Dalvin Cook off injury would be the same was a miss. It's just the Jets truly thought an elderly Rodgers was going to get all his starts in and when that blew up Game 1, the Jets had no plan.

Joe Douglas sitting back and not making any kind of move, forget a QB signing was also a blemish. The Jags traded a mere 6th for Erza Cleveland! You can't tell me that he would have slotted in RG and been better than Newman or Glaser! We needed WR help, was Arizona or nobody willing to deal?!

Like I said in the past, what this tells me is Joe Douglas & Robert Saleh are safe for 2024 because of the Rodgers injury. Same with Nate Hackett as long as Rodgers gives him the vote of confidence. This year is a wash and punt. I just don't trust this regime in their ability to assess talent. Saleh lets his coaches call shotgun too much with little to no influence and for him to be a truly great HEAD coach, he needs to get involved more on offense, especially if he lets Ulbricht call defensive playcalling.

Can't really be mad about the Texans loss to the Jaguars, I just hate that we looked ridiculous with those all red uniforms/helmet in a big game like that. Nothing about that color scheme was Texas, that is the name of the team the TEXANS the color scheme is of our state flag. Don't fuck with that, I don't even care for the idea of them trying to incorporate Oilers blue into the colors, stick to the state flag, add the actual flag onto the uniforms or the pants idk, it's the only thing missing to me. But Doug Pederson is legit, that was asking a lot of this team to beat them 2 times. They looked like rookie head coach and quarterback in that game. I expected them to win 3 or 4 games this year so I'm not allowing myself to get hopes too high or get mad or disappointed just grateful to see them playing with some heart finally.

I think the red looks great. All the other teams in the division wear blue so they should lean into it more.

Von Miller is being investigated for domestic assault. I thought he had that issue a few years ago late with the Broncos. Bills season just has had so many bumps over the past 12 months really.

Hopefully BUF has some out clause on that large contract Miller got a few seasons ago if this is deemed to be true. 

He’s barely played this year and when he has played he’s been mid so whatever. Cut his ass.
