Excalibur said before this match that because Jay White won, RUSH is mathematically eliminated. He did a shit job of explaining it though.

Basically RUSH can't make the semis because he lost to Jay White already. Even if Swerve loses tonight and RUSH beats him in their final match, Moxley will still end up with more points and Jay White wins the tie-breaker. Best RUSH can do is play spoiler if Swerve loses tonight. RUSH could eliminate him by beating him and make the semis White vs Moxley.

This must be where it is headed. If White loses to Moxley he is automatically out because Swerve already beat White and owns the tie-breaker. The tournament would be over and Swerve’s match against RUSH would be meaningless. They wouldn’t have White win tonight and talk about him staying alive/eliminating RUSH if they didn’t plan on White somehow being involved in the semis.

So White “upsets” Moxley and Swerve has to win to force a triple threat.

Wonder how the Blue League shakes out. Only person eliminated so far is Garcia. Kingston probably wins out and gives himself hope of making the finals and regaining his titles. I think Brody falls off after a strong start and gets eliminated. Andrade makes the semis because he owns the tie-breaker with Danielson or something.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Swerve that designed it or asked for it himself. He is very hands-on and deliberate with his merch and attire so I wouldn't expect that someone just decided to do that without his input. But if they did then yeah, fire them. It looks weird.

I'm still bitter over the loss last night but I'm willing to let it go if Swerve still ends up in the finals. Anything short of that is a failure imo. I will accept Jay White sneaking into the finals with Bullet Club Gold somehow influencing the outcome (even though they can't interfere) because that would fit his character and create some fresh, good feuds for 2024, but if they give Jon Moxley another invincible run and another title for no reason then I'm going to complain on twitter a lot.

Andrade is red hot too after last night. I was surprised at how well received he was. I wouldn't be mad if he went all the way. Not my first choice but could be a nice change of pace.

Seeing a lot of comments this morning that all the "real glass" being used by The Devil is just a red herring and it isn't Jack Perry. People are comparing it to when The Dark Order was bringing in The Exalted One and they did things like having Raven randomly sitting in the audience and stuff like that. I think fans are just kidding themselves because nobody wants to admit that it's Jack Perry, and when he finally reveals himself it is going to go over like a fart in church.

The graphics look similar to the ones Sammy does. One of the minions has a Wardlow build but Hobbs also has one. And Don Callis family has been MIA.

So if Devil group starts messing with gold side next week it will make it look like LFI, bullet club gold, or the BCC.

Unless they did it on purpose so no one would suspect them afterwards.

People still think MJF is an option and he was also "attacked". But I am leaning towards Don Callis family at moment. May change tomorrow who knows. And who ever it is will be a let down but it is fun guessing.

I mean, most paths lead to stupid here.  Bullet Club coming out of this a dominant feared faction that played everyone would be a good outcome for me.  Jack Perry and the dark match crew would be lame IMO.   Frankly the whole Devil story went on so long I no longer care and just want it over.  Like it is not going anywhere and just seems to be leading to Perry, which would be a huge letdown.

I have a feel the whole the rest of the guys do matter rumor will prove to be bullshit in the end too.  

As we all know, Mox being Swerve is a disappointment. But I take some solace in the fact that Mox won with a rollup, where he grabbed the tights, and where Swerve's shoulder was clearly off the mat. That last part was probably unintentional but it helps. Jon Moxley always wins in the most decisive way possible, so for him to win in that way is a victory of sorts.

It is looking like Jay White has to beat Moxley to make the block interesting, and I am sure that is what will happen.

I'm more intrigued as to who is going to stop Andrade. He might lose to both Claudio and Kingston.

Listening to that crowd even prior to the match, it was hyped for Swerve with lot of people were thinking, this is it, Swerve is going to get a rocket straped to him. But nah, fuck it, Jon Moxley of Jon Moxley Plumbing, wins again.

Since it is for the NJPW Strong title, Mox winning lets him go into a WK match with the belt.
