Yeah it's interesting that Tampa, Philly and Dallas have more than the rest of the league combined. Eagles had Jason Kelce and Dallas had Tyron Smith prior to this offseason too. 

Gholston is a fun outlier in the group (and the reason for the initial tweet) because everyone else is a pro bowler (most multiple times) and then he's just this rotational glue guy.

Packers can still get on the board if they resign Bahk. Gotta find a way to squeeze him in UT.

Reminds me of the Astros changes, I liked their older look so much more. The new look is so bland, and the H logo pales in comparison to the older stuff they had. 

Reminds me of the 49ers failed helmet logo change in 90-91, this may be even worse, just extreme liberties being taken here with our stuff with no real respect for our logo.

It's giving more MLB than XFL, and I think it would have looked better on a white helmet than navy, but it's only an alternative anyway so not worth getting too upset about.

That actually wouldn't look half bad on a white helmet. I just don't like them changing our logo or fucking with it at all, there were ways to incorporate the Oilers blue as an accent color into what we already had. Honestly after seeing the Titans in Oilers gear last year it just made me not want the Texans to not have anything to do with that columbia blue, beating them in that game really was therapeutic and gave some closure to move on from it. Very important win. This alternate helmet overall to me is just a step in the wrong direction. We made this giant leap forward to move on from the past then turned around and started wading back through it. 

Also think it was HR that connected the all red/helmet to low rider car culture as if that were some trademark of Houston, that seems like a pretty niche thing in Houston and more of a LA/Cali thing, Houston is rodeo and 4 wheel drive trucks.

The rice burner fast and the furious cars were way more prominent in Houston than lowriders and old english tattoo font when I lived there last. When I went to Long Beach CA in 2020 and 2022 that was a different story, that was all I seen.
