Otherwise it’s a work, which I would be able to get on board with, if not for the fact that it would mean Rock happy exposing himself as the bad guy.

The analogy refers to the entitlement at the base of it. Maybe not exactly the same but the entitlement behind it, and to be clear… fans pay for the WWE to put on a wrestling product , a wrestling product the WWE books to put out there. They don’t pay to get exactly what they want , this isn’t a restaurant.

They spend their money and now are continuing to spend their money on to have a bad time. There’s a different analogy out there but I’m not trying to bring this thread down that road. It’s just gross and immature behavior from alleged adults.

And it is happening and as for not throwing a prefit , the same could be said for the otherside who now will not give this match a chance. Roman and Rock could go out where and put forth a memorable fun dream match that is predetermined to get shit on. If fans wanted to go into that match and boo because it turned out to be shit that’s one thing but they could put on the greatest match in Mania history at this point and fans have concluded far before the bell rings that it sucks.

They’re not spending their money to have a bad time. Have you watched the product recently? That hijack the show shit died out when AEW was founded. These people are not spending their money to boo, they already spent their money and if they got Roman/Cody they sure as shit wouldn’t have booed. So I don’t understand the argument. If you dislike something you can’t boo? You have to not attend the show in protest? Pretend to enjoy it? Sit there silently? I’m not sure what exactly they’re supposed to do.

I don't know, it might be hypocritical given I get emotional(Or did) about the Jets for NFL but I don't get that invested into wrestling to this point. I have no real control over whatever and I think wrestling fans have been so accustomed to getting what they want immediately that when it doesn't happen, they don't know how to handle themselves.

Also they didn’t spend their money on Roman/Cody 2. They spent their money on Wrestlemania and they’re getting Wrestlemania.

This thread is what PW needed. This is fun.

TKO stock unaffected by this news. Investors seem to give no shits either way.

There are 2 big reasons I stopped going to WM (I can't speak for Rogue) :

1) I wanted to see and do other things with the $3000-5000 I spent every Mania
2) I hated the other fans. Legit, straight up hated them after 5 Manias. Hated signs, but mostly hated their perceived sense of entitlement they felt they had over the wrestlers, the other fans and the show.

Not once was it because I cared about what match I would see because we booked our travel packages around SummerSlam. Sure, I had my favorites and I always hoped, but honestly you are left with whatever hand you are dealt and overall I had the times of my life.

Rogue and I still speak about doing a Rumble.
