Weed is going to be changed to be Schedule III soon. Hopefully this will allow banking for weed businesses. All cash is dangerous.

Changes will only be for medicinal. Rec weed for growing and sale will still be federally illegal and stuck on cash only.

What this appears to be doing, is to let in major medical groups flood the market with cash and take over production.  Then when commercial sales are allowed, they will have full control of the supply and distribution chains to just push the small red stores out of business.  I imagine rec use will be legalized nationally in 5 years or so once the med industry is embedded as they have the cash to force congress to legalize it.

First major detrans lawsuit in the US was just tossed from court, with sanctions for the lawyers. They will pay all court costs and now are barred from refilling the suit. Further sanctions against the lawyers are being requested as well. Was the first case the anti-trans law group filed, and likely, could be the last.

Should any of these cases actually win, US healthcare gets radically altered as at the crux of the legal arguments is people cannot engage in informed consent as adults. Which would mean in the future if a doctor warns you that a medication has side effects, and you agree to take the medication and get those side effects, you still can sue them for malpractice.

God can feel myself growing so old talking with young college liberals. Their plan is not to vote and instead organize to lead a resistance against Trump of he wins that will remove him from office and end late stage capitalism. After which a whole new system of government will emerge.

That is the preferable option to them compared with voting for Biden. And it does not matter what laws Trump passes, the resistance can change them.

In other Trump news, his defense starts next week, and his legal team is doing all they can to prevent him from taking the stand. Judge will monitor is statements closely and likely make Trump, underoath, admit if he does not testify, he is willingly choosing to make no statements to the court.
