Bolsonaro's supporters tried to pull a coup and failed, which is what started this all. The people getting arrested where those involved in the coup. It is very much like what happened in the US after the Jan 6th attack.  Alexandre de Moraes is in charge of this investigation and been in contact with Musk regularly over the last year.  

I know what Musk claims, but that is not what is happening.  And franky it does not even matter what anyone thinks.  Brasil has laws, and Musk has for months been claiming basically he is above them and does not need to comply.  Now he is finding out when Brasil is taking action against him and no longer putting up with his shit.

Thing that should scare Musk is they set the blueprint for dealing with him in the future.  While countries have little way to punish Twitter, attacking Musk via Tesla or SpaceX is very easily done.  Not be shocked to see other countries move this way when Musk does not comply with their laws.

Only way shit changes if this becomes the norm and parents are charged for murders their guns commit.

I think the gun owners should be liable in all of these school shootings. Criminal, civil, all of the above.

Read someplace earlier that this kids dad had the police come last year and tell them they thought the kid was a danger, and then gave the kid an AR15 a few months later. Jesus.

Yeah, that is why he got the murder charges. Just insane shit. But even this is a step too far for gun owners who think you should not be punished for giving a potential shooter a weapon to use for it.

For kids at least, giving them access to a firearm should be manslaughter charges at least moving forward.  It is not hard to lock up guns.

I don't read much non-fiction, but this new Bob Woodward book seems incredibly interesting. It's mostly about Biden but includes Trump and Obama as well.
