‘The biggest gate ever’ thing will always happen. Ticket prices go up and shows sell out, that number will keep going up.
The 13 sell outs in a row is impressive.

They better have locked down Drew if they are running Scotland. He’s on the initial promo material for the show so I’d be shocked if he hasn’t resigned yet.

I cannot imagine them letting him go. He is at his peak right now. If he is on the promo stuff then clearly they got a contract and he is fucking with the IWC.

Important news for WWE’s side is that $TKO will remain a public company: "TKO is not party to this transaction and will remain a publicly traded company that will continue to benefit from its connectivity to Endeavor’s expertise, relationships, and significant capabilities."

Big Pete your boy is trashing on your girl. What's going on. AAH-SOO-KUH. I just caught this post now but saw the clip floating around. I'm not entirely sure where Goldberg's head is, possibly up his ass, but ever since the WWE let his legends deal expire he's been awfully negative again. In context, Bill was saying that the WWE had gone out of their way to ruin his appeal which is true. However his sexist/xenophobic toxic masculine way of putting it didn't paint him in a sympathetic light and had nothing to do with his 2003 signing. As well spoken as Goldberg is, he's still a meat-head, so feeling insulted that a Japanese woman beat his winning streak speaks volumes of his insecurity.
The thing is, he's not wrong to feel slighted by the WWE. They took several shots at him before he arrived, messed with him when he got there and just buried him on the way out. Despite this, they can't deny the influence he's had (how many top stars started using the spear after Goldberg debuted in WCW?) or how much he resonates with fans.
Poor form from Bill and he ought to apologise for it, but in context there was a fair point to be made.

Well, Silver Lake will be buying Endeavor. I do not imagine most of the Endeavor board will still be there after the sale. And this will give Silver Lake majority control over WWE. Biggest change will be betting will be pushed a lot more in UFC and WWE since Silver Lake owns Open Bet. But equity boys on the board may mean the era of big money in WWE and UFC may also be over. The added value of the big stars is not enough to justify the pay from a modern business evaluation standpoint. Hopefully not much changes, but Silver Lake will only care about the money they make from this. They do not give a shit about MMA or wrestling. Also I do fully expect them to assess buying out TKO and moving it private as well. Equity groups hate shareholders.

Seeing people say this is nothing and an overreaction but they also said that about Rory Gulak and that def did not turn out to be nothing. After getting called out for his love of beastility he never wrestled again. Been five years now since his last match. WWE dodged a bullet passing on signing him after he quit deathmatches. Lets hope Drew does not turn out to be just as much as a degen.

Gulak sitting front and centre at the HOF next to Trish is how seriously they're taking Rousey's allegations.

Gulak sitting front and centre at the HOF next to Trish is how seriously they're taking Rousey's allegations. Gulak has went on record to discuss the incident. He is saying it was an accident he apologized for. Who knows what the truth is. It sounds like other people were around when it happened.

Part of the new era it seems WWE will be dropping the sports entertainment term.
Also TKO and Endeavor are buying Vince's shares. 3.5 million moving in the near future. Likely as Vince liquidates his holdings they will pick them up to nullify them rather than let Vince drive down the stock value.

This may get to break away if anything else is know, but Nick Khan talking about WWE working more with other feds. From the SI interview.
"Speaking with numerous contacts surrounding Khan, one of WWE’s potential explorations is to engineer a collaboration with other professional wrestling promotions. That is an area WWE rarely explored during McMahon’s four-plus decades of leadership, so it represents a new realm for Khan to make a lasting impact. He was the one responsible for giving Levesque the green light to work with then-TNA Wrestling President Scott D’Amore, which led to emerging star Jordynne Grace–who is the TNA Knockouts champion–making an appearance in the women’s Royal Rumble match this past January."
Some are claiming this is GCW due to the Bloodsport cross over, but likely the Stardom offshoot they are talking about that is starting up. Rossy Ogawa was backstage this weekend. But it is expected more and more talent will be picking up select outside dates. Not gonna be a free for all, but the AEW model likely to be adopted that if someone wants to work a date they can request to, or if a fed wants a talent they can request them. Not really new news, was reported this is how AJPW and GCW got talent, and how WWE kept getting TNA talent. If it keeps up the Vince era of WWE being isolated will finally end for good, and this all will be more of the norm than the exception.
I would expect NXT talent to start doing excursions in the future before their big TV runs as would be a great way to get them experience in front of crowds, something many in house guys desperately need.

Report coming in that Seth, Roman and Becky all taking time off. Roman because he not really taken much in recent years, Seth because he returned too soon and will heal up properly, and Becky because she is unsure if she is staying with WWE or leaving so WWE.
No confirmation Drew signed yet, but safe money is on a quiet signing that reporters just are not aware about.

Some real sad new from E. I cannot imagine WWE letting him work elsewhere though so I assume there will be a talk soon about finding something else for him to do on the shows. Feel like he would make a killer agent or talent relations guy. Or even commentator. He was a big part of the Hulu show about recruiting for NXT since he was a recruit for NXt, so maybe scouting is in his future as that series made it seem like they are churning through hundreds of people a year at the tryouts to find maybe a dozen people worth sending to the performance center proper.

I'd imagine Big E is a WWE lifer, as are The New Day. He's, no, they've all got the perfect personalities to work in talent relations.
Just good guys.

That is crushing news. I really hoped that with his appearance at the HOF ceremony that a return was coming. I'm glad he got his title win when he did and we have a lot of good to look back on.
He's too good to not be on TV in some form. Maybe he manages Kofi & Woods to one last tag title run? Woods goes after the HW title to complete the trifecta of them all being world champs? Could be something.
At the very least get him on TV with a microphone in his hand.

Replace Booker with Big E and let him refine his talent on NXT before making the jump.

Natalya on the list of people with contracts coming up that were not renegotiated yet. Losing her would be a huge blow given the people who end up in the dungeon training with her.

Got confirmation from Becky that Seth that is out with knee surgery to finally repair his knee. He did WM banged up.
Drew also banged up his elbow at WM, but unlike that pussy Punk, will work through it. Assumed now he is signing a contract but pushing up the cash by holding out signing waiting for the absolute best offer. The creative issue that had him considering AEW were resolved by HHH and Punk encouraging him to lean into this new side of him and he is reported to be very happy with his character and direction now. Given WWE advertised him for shows after his contract ends, they do not expect him to be going anywhere either despite nothing being signed right now. I imagine he waits until the very end to sign, as it just makes sense if you want to be a hard negotiator to wait until you get that final best offer. This whole process likely upped his offer considerably.

I love that dirt sheets don’t seem to have a legitimate source in WWE anymore and they go with safe bets and call them rumors. This is the second time Becky has called them out.
