Reports are future Wrestlemania sites will be picked on profitability in terms of rights fees and local government spending. Interesting shift that really may alter just where the big events may appear. Florida, New Orleans and LA are no longer like automatic forerunners. And international locations looking at lot more likely if like Perth and Lyon they are willing to pump big money into the event.

If WWE is a global fed, should be doing the big events globally, so this is exciting to me. Lyon was one of the loudest crowds I ever seen, so if they can get that sort of attitude at WM I am all for it. And why not try to run staple PPV HUGE with international stadium shows. Lyon was a pretty forgettable show on paper, but that crowd made it an unforgettable show.

Gonna be fun to see what happens as Endeavour moves out of traditional wrestling markets into more locations. And this could really give definition to a new era, of WWE starts to look a lot more at global markets as a focus and not as the b-shows.

Just saw a report that Raw is going to stay on USA through the end of the year so that there wouldn’t be a gap in broadcasting.

And net a nice 25 million to do so.  Great win for them.

I had an argument with some dude on Twitter when the Netflix deal was announced because they said Raw would die in the three months of no TV and I basically said, NBC will make a deal with them to keep it on USA or move it to Peacock because NBC is invested in WWE’s success. Spooky.

I honestly did not think they would as it was something that could have easily been negotiated before the Netflix deal.

Oh man, it is beginning.  The UFC to WWE pipeline could get very, very interesting.  Pity this was not around earlier, as guys like Forest Griffin, Rampage or even GSP could have been huge in WWE.

Yeah, I'm not interested in seeing an influx of UFC fighters trying their hand at WWE. I might be in the minority, but I am happy with UFC being UFC and WWE being WWE. They are both different artforms.

Tony can say why he released the Boys but HHH lies about why he released Drew who it seems had his release celebrated backstage in NXT.  HHH really needs to man up for these.  When Cody handles shit better than he does, it just makes him look bad.
