Becky still has not re-signed with WWE and her contract expires June 1st. The rumour is that she will be offered the biggest contract of any female wrestler in history.

There is a supposed insider on wreddit that said to “soak in tonight,” in regards to Becky. If they are accurate there is a chance Becky might take some time off. I wonder if she hasn’t re-signed because she wants to stay home with her kid.

There is a place she can work half the dates for higher pay at.  Love the people saying clearly she would not take an offer for more money, less dates and working with her old friends because she is loyal to a brand and instead she will just stay home instead and wrestler handshake and hotdog dates instead when she wants to work.

You can act like it’s a stupid thing to not go to AEW. But how many people just re-signed under similar circumstances? There’s a reason so many WWE wrestlers are choosing to stay and not making the obvious decision to jump to AEW.

Becky should take time off and it would be the best thing ever for both the audience and her own self. The Man gimmick is dead and her current trait of dressing painfully bad is all she has going. Give the audience some time to fall in love with her again. For me, this run felt like a Charlotte Flair run, meaning regardless of who else was getting over, they'd always go back to Charlotte even when the alternative was better.

And she looks exhausted and gaunt. Does anyone else notice she pouts and licks the inside of her lips alot of late? People have pointed it out for years, but it seems really obvious now. It's ok to step away. In fact, it'd be a good thing.

No, once you have money the goal becomes to get all the money.

Sure, AEW is an option. But for every high profile ex-WWE worker that AEW picks up, a step down the card goes every up and comer. At least short term.

It's a WCW mentality. Big profile + big money = disgruntled mid card. And that frustration is very real.

Yup, I love them trying to claim Copeland and Daniel Bryan were never liked in WWE either.

But most of this group does not really engage in wrestling itself, they engage with the wrestling pundits like Cornette who mostly trash on the current product and fans.  They do not want something to like, they want something to hate.

And it’s not a WWE problem. It’s a wrestling problem. They turned on Adam and Bryan like they turned on Cody and Jade. It’s just who these idiots are.

Stop going to them for a source of the pulse of fans.

Personally I do not care, I never watched wrestling based on other people's suggestions, I watch what I enjoy solely.

The problem is not WWE, the problem is wrestling pundits and their followings. But this is a growing field as there is a lot of profit in hate. And they are fueling the tribalism in wrestling almost exclusively. No one else benefits from it, outside of people getting patreon or youtube cash.

The tribalism is on both sides. Let's not ignore that.

And it's being egged on by, well, even Little Tony himself. If anyone thinks a comment like " The Harvey Weinstein of Wrestling " doesn't fuel tribalism, then they've got their head up their ass.

Vince was the Weinstein of wrestling.  WWE under him led to dozens of women being assaulted and covered up a fucking murder.  Try to paint Tony and Vince as equals and it does not work.  Tony is a nerd who posts stupid shit, Vince is being sued in several states and new accusations are coming out near monthly.  No one can seriously tell me these two are the same.

TK didn't say it out of some crusade to expose Vince. He did it to pop his audience. He wasn't pioneering the speaking up movement. He was being a cocky little shit when he said it.

TK could have spoke about being the underdog or being David v Goliath, but instead he took the low road and made light of sexual abuse to pop his core.

He's not fighting Vince, he's fighting a new WWE, a new WWE who is kicking his ass.

I can understand Copeland having critics, I don't get the Bryan hate. Unless they're criticising him for being reckless or feel let down by his booking, even the most ardent WWE loyalist would say he's still got a lot going for him.

Copeland on the other hand has been polarising ever since his 2020 return and this AEW run is virtually more of the same. If anything, he was one of those guys AEW fans used to make fun of and now they have to put up with him and his 'hammy' promos on AEW TV. There's a disconnect and while they've taken the safe route with him, they've basically made him a non-entity since his feud with Christian. It's just a bunch of WWE nostalgia on the rival promotion - it's odd.

As far as Cody and Jade Jeff, the fans were already turning on them long before they left. There was definitely some pettiness with Cody, with fans either trying to death-ride him or make his run all about AEW. Don't get me wrong, AEW is certainly a part of the story, but Cody was all about the value of competition and how if a certain guy doesn't fit in one promotion, he can make it in another and vice versa. Fans were fairly supportive of Jade and understood the value she brought the company. However she got caught up in the Punk stuff, she disappeared off TV for awhile and when she returned she was off to the WWE. AEW fans had afforded her a lot of patience and goodwill so for her to turn on the company stung. Plus, a lot of WWE fans talked about how she'd fit much better in a professional environment, making it this back and forth. Personally I think she's basically where she was at when she was in AEW.

The funny one to me was Matt Taven who was reported to be off to WWE, leading to all this online ridicule from AEW fans, only for them to walk back their comments later.

And it's fine, comparing is just in our human nature. It comes as naturally as bad takes on guys wrestling in their tights. The thing is with the rise of twitter, it's magnified the absolute worst aspects of the community. Twitter is basically a giant version of PW, with far worse moderators and features that give members delusions of grandeur.

For the idiot tribalists everything needs to reduce down to use vs them, and ratings matter more than anything. Edge and DB were associated with ratings dropping. And they do not watch AEW, so does not matter what either are doing there.

I see nothing but positive things about Jade. People who liked her in AEW, now like her in WWE. People keep wanting to claim there is a large ass group of tribal AEW fans, but most AEW fans still watch WWE and enjoy it. Reaction to Ethan Page jumping is the same, people are happy he is now on TV in NXT. Sole person that they seem to not give a shit about in WWE is Punk, which is to be expected as he started to trash AEW well before he left and spent almost his entire AEW run hurt.

Please c, pull your head out of it. The hardcore AEW base is as tribal and toxic as it gets. The problem is, they can dish it out, but they can't take it in return.
