Well like Drew, when asked Becky will not commit to staying with WWE right now. And both make sure it is noted in their interviews they know their worth. This is a far, far cry from the old WWE is the best fed ever and I cannot imagine working anywhere else that some go to.

They may stay in the end, but both are making it very clear they are listening to other offers.  And for the past year when both feds put out offers, Tony always offered more money for less work.

Well seem some people get to renew their contracts early. Cody just reported he signed a new multiyear deal.

Reports are Giulia signed and will be reporting to the performance center once her final dates are done. She will be going to NXT, not directly to the main roster.

Least shocking signing ever. Tony got to be pissed he did not get her. He wanted her bad.

Glad she keeps the name. I know some are reporting she can keep her style too, but I do not see it at all. WWE just not into allowing people to brutalize each other with stiff strikes in throwaway matches.

Confirmed that Jacob Fatu is signed. No word on Zilla. Tama Tonga was also supposed to be quietly signed, so may get a new bloodline in NXT soon.

But even if it is just Jacob, he been tearing it up on the indy scene these last few months and was a clear standout talent.  He is best with Zilla but works great solo too.  Reminds me so much of his dad Umaga.  

Look like Booker is using Zilla again too as of last month, so issues there may be resolved.

Interesting notes about Giulia. Seems WWE outbid Tony for her.  I imagine the amount of former Stardom people in WWE also helped land her.

News from Japan. Starlight Kid was at WM backstage. Sounded like she was wowed by the atmosphere and wondering what it would be like to wrestle there.

Seems like the outreach to Stardom is working well for the Rossi people.

Wonder how many Joshi girls HHH will take too. SLK would be a massive pickup even with Giulia in the wings.

Something up. Xia Li and Jinder both posted they quit WWE. Jinder made it seem like it was money.

I imagine this is how post Mania cuts may be handled, people given new contracts at the value they are currently worth to the company, take it or leave it.  I would assume the era of million plus deals for guys sitting at home with no creative are long over.

Be curious to see how WWE does work if they do start running it more as a true business in terms of talent pay.  Vince started a era of being overly generous and that seems to over with passing on Mone and Okada.

Mahal is a huge drop the ball moment by the WWE, he is a natural heel and one of the very few people who consistently gets a rise from the crowd. Ultra heel Rock in 2024 was even getting cheers vs that man. Tony Khan will be too butthurt when Mahal called that dope out so I assume Mahal is TNA bound but he should be pushed to the top. Great physique, great character work, very good mind. Fuck the wrestling moves, Mahal is him. Unless he wanted like 7 figures, Mahal was every bit deserving of a pay raise for what he's been able to do. How do you pay shit like Bronson Reed but not Jinder Mahal Triple H?

Xia Li I thought got called up too early but again I guess WWE doesn't see the market value in both India and China the way they used to.

Xia Li was never able to get over with the crowd. They gave her that program with Becky and I don’t think anyone was overly interested in her.

Aside from his program with Rock and Seth earlier this year, Jinder has only been a manger for the last two years or so.

Both are great talents but their draw to the company lately has been very low. The only way you offer them high contracts is if: you see more value than they currently bring with the WWE machine and push or you’re worried they will be a threat to your company if they went to the competitor. I don’t think either fall into either categories. And I hate that because I like Xia and I love Jinder.

I hope they both get good jobs somewhere.

Xyon Quin was let go, I didn't think he had much going for him TBH. Never wowed me in NXT, they tried to make something happen with him though. Stunned he got called to the main roster when he did. Maybe he can work with his girl Hayley Cameron in AEW. Or go back to Rugby.

He's no different to any of the old football players in the 1990s becoming wrestlers. Meaning he ain't working Indies for $100 and a handshake, and the Australian independent scene is hardly consistent enough to earn a living.

Considering the Mrs. is in AEW, I bet he goes there.

Wonder where Xia Li ends up. She could literally go anywhere it feels like from here. Girl got a ton of options. She def was not ready for WWE, but TNA, Stardom and TJPW may all have eyes on her now as she would just slot right in easily as Chinese wrestler can be all she needs for a gimmick since they are so very rare. I just hope Tony passes on her, the roster is packed and Omega is talking about bringing in more Stardom girls from regular appearances, particularly AZM. Tony has two to three times as many girls as he can support, time to let some go.

IIRC he excelled in the tryouts.  And did show promise early on but either creative let him down or he peaked early.  He was a prime guy for a cut.

Also wonder how many they plan to cut. I imagine this will be the post mania cutting season starting. Likely should see NXT and performance center cleanups coming too.

Seems logical to make your cuts before the draft. How many times in the past did someone get drafted to a new brand just to get cut in the next month?

Yup, just makes sense that after Mania when you are planning out the next year, people that you really cannot find plans for may just not be needed.

The easy sell is " WWE Champion " on his resume.

AEW should hire him, but I'm betting he's picked up by TNA. He's mid card at best in Tony Land, but a contender at least in TNA.

Yeah, TNA he is on top, not so much in AEW. TNA he will likely join the rest in NJPW as well on off days.

I'm guessing WWE is never planning on returning to India.

Veer is not near. I am stunned the other guy from the group is still there. 

Jinny is the lone Hindu talent left and WWE should let her be some female wrestler's manager because she's a good promo.
