Theory had one cool match with Pat Mac a few Wrestlemanias back but has been real bland every other time I've seen him (like thrice lol). Meanwhile LA Knight, the MEGASTAR with UNDENIABLE KAVORKA, is the best thing to hit wrestling since NWA Champ Nick Aldis, and WWE sucks for not giving him all the belts. YEAH!

The only reason I didn't take LA Knight back-to-back with The King is because I wanted to give you guys a chance this year. It wouldn't be fair if I had The King and The Megastar on my roster two years in a row. That's not an insult. That is just a fact of life. YEAH!

Seriously though. I watched like 3 WWE shows in the past year, maybe 5 or 6 from AEW, and like 100 LA Knight clips. Verdict: LA Knight > AEW > WWE. YEAH!

Booking a bunch of dream matches is easy. Trying to find a way to make the Bashams or La Resistance (or the scrub of your choice) interesting is where the fun is.

Would have been epic for sure. So epic I'm pretty sure I actually did it at some point.  If not, I definitely thought about it before.

As I was going to sleep on April 30th at 12:39 a.m. I had a eureka moment. A glorious plan popped into my head. Unfortunately, half of that plan has been picked. But only half! I figured it would have been 3/4 by now. So there's still a chance to do something fun with two of those wrestlers...

So, I just thought it would be fun to challenge myself by waiting until the end to pick from the leftovers. It's something I had thought about doing for years.

Plan A was to build around Lawler vs. a Dungeon of Doom. It's still a sweet plan and one I'll probably come back to in the future.

Addendum #1 came on the night of April 29-30 when I had a Eureka moment involving Lana Star & Toni Storm. I simply HAD to do something with the Timeless Stars. This was the first time I regretted skipping my other 19 picks because Jade & Bianca would have been the perfect foils to break up Team Hollywood, giving us a Toni/Lana feud for the ages. This was a very strong secondary storyline to compliment Lawler/Dungeon of Doom on top.

Addendum #2 was a gloriously insane storyline I've been sitting on for years involving Eddie Gilbert, Lord Steven Regal, Alexa Bliss, and a 4th who shall remain nameless. This storyline would certainly have no place in KITN 's strait-laced TRUE, but it's just the sort of wacky, over the top sports entertainment that appeals to me. Problem is it's real specific to those talents. Well, I suppose Nana isn't the worst Regal stand in, but it really needs Bliss and Gilbert to work. I didn't even select the 4th wheel, opting instead for a last-second Jungle Boy swerve. Ugh! Should have scrapped this whole thing entirely for like the 3rd year in a row. Now I'm stuck with a wrestler I don't really need. Anyone want Eddie Gilbert? REPEAT: I AM OPEN TO TRADING EDDIE GILBERT. Message me if interested in this fine talent. I'm even open to offers for Prince Nana.
 
Plan B was to do a Saving the AWA draft by picking from the remaining wrestlers who were active in 89-90, but not in WWF or WCW. Lawler vs. Larry Legend & Orndorff on top would have been wonderful. Whole thing would have been fun. But I ultimately wimped out because I'd have to it right, be true to my Bakerness, and that meant drafting the likes of the Destruction Crew, Jake The Milkman, and Jonnie Stewart. All of whom I assume would have gone over like a fart in church right here on PW. Plus, I couldn't do the Toni & Lana thing, and that bummed me out. 

Plan C was to skip ahead a decade with similar idea- Extreme World Championship Wrestling, a merger between ECW & WCW to save them both. But the talent pool was real thin when it came time for picking. Only main eventers I had to oppose Lawler (who was naturally going to save the entire alternative wrestling business) were Steve Corino and maybe Muta. I like to think I'm very good at the sort of b.s. proper wrestling was built on, but even I have my limits. I need to believe in a main eventer before I can make PW believe. Yet I still might have gone through with this plan if KITN didn't pick Shamrock. Or maybe not. Because while Lana would have been a valid pick, I couldn't have had "Timeless" Toni. And that bothered me. So now the world will never get to see my genius idea for Rhino. Or at least not for another year.

So I ultimately settled on Plan D: a women-centric fed...

Me: "Eh, Mike Enos, Jonnie Stewart and Jake the Milkman might be a little too obscure for PW."
Me, 5 minutes later: *Drafts Godiva, Caged Heat, Jungle Grrrl, and a bunch of other wrestlers most of PW probably never even heard of, let alone seen*

But at least this way I can do my Lana/Toni thing and give them a strong division to play around with. Shout out to poor Chaparita Asari who a last second cut when I opted to take Jungle Grrrl instead.

Anyone want to trade for Eddie Gilbert? Neo Zeed ? I'm also open to offers for Prince Nana. 

I’ve always wanted to make my own Dungeon of Doom. Now I know what I’m going to do for the next 4 days.

Why weren’t you allowed to participate? 

Because we already had everyone in and had set up the rules for this draft with the round robin and, in fact, had already started drafting.
