Gotta be. I know they tend to go ALL IN on segments when they have a PPV coming up but if there isn't at least one more match I will be surprised.

As the biggest Mercedes/Sasha fan on this board, I couldn’t care less about her so far in AEW. Her presentation is off. She should have came in with a cocky/shit talking attitude instead of this happy to be here babyface bullshit. She can be a strong babyface but it works best if she’s a heel first and then the fans eventually get behind her.

So, on 4/3, they sent Edge out to do a rah rah promo on AEW.

Then on 4/10, they aired the Punk/Perry footage, only to make Punk look correct. And then later on, Osprey cut a promo in response to HHH's comment on "the grind".

Wonder what plans AEW has for tonight, if they have a foot left to shoot themselves in...

I do think they will be smart enough to move on and focus on their current talent. The Punk/Mania hoopla is over and it’s time to move on.

That's both kayfabe and non kayfabe impressive, because he can go to completely different companies with different focuses [in universe, wildly varying styles and out of universe, bookers who want to bring out other aspects of pro wrestling] and prove himself to be the main guy. Shield and the Horsewomen, AEW has the hot heads of both groups. The ones that never really got the rocket. Sasha really doesn't feel authentic outside of the WWE. Really is the end of an era. Edge filling in that not quite retired legend you always need.
