Flagrant 1 seems right to me. Definitely unnecessary, but nothing that I haven’t seen before. Clark said same.

Looking at Angels (distant) eyes you can tell she wasn’t aiming for Clark’s head. Her eyes are up looking at the ball the whole time. I don’t think she meant to do it.

If Reese owned up to the mistake post game and said something along the likes of "It was a reckless foul and I cost my team momentum in a tight game, I need to do better and I will be better", she'd get loads of props from all excluding the obvious people. She chose to point the finger and not own up to it though. Even Draymond Green after all of his nonsense owned up to some of the antics he's done. Same with Patrick Beverley. At some point, you need to look in the mirror and say why overshadow all the good that I do with this stuff? Reese has been a double double machine and has had a good rookie year but people will just know her as the agitator and rightfully so. She's earned that rep thus far.

The treatment of Angel Reese on X when she says something nice about Cameron Brink shows a bit of the toxic Caitlin Clark worship we had here in IA last year.

The way Reese was playing vs Indiana, it just is even more frustrating that she lets all the stuff she says away from the game and some of the lame shit she does on the floor overshadow the double doubles she racks up. I get needing an edge but it completely overtakes all the rebounding & toughness she provides.

The W has been so good this year, 1st year I have box score watching. So much drama, so much soap opera shit. This has been tremendous. Clark/Angel have saved the WNBA. The things both of them are doing as rookies is excellent for the sport. Clark is obviously the GOAT, but I won’t tolerate Angel hate as a defense to why Clark is great. I love them both. Shit me following them also made me realize how unstoppable Aja Wilson is. I think they win it all, not the Liberty.

The best part about the WNBA this season has been Clark sweeping Taurasis Mercury.

Caitlin Clark beats Angel Reese 3-1 in the season series and drops a career high 31 points with 12 assists to do it. That should solidify her as the rookie of the year unless the WNBA wants to be racist.
