Shinobi literally began with a dropkick

Even round, commentary giving it to the hometown boy, January, but Shinobi holding his own. 

2nd round is the same. Shinobi landing kicks, January landing punches. Commentary has it 2-0 for January, but Shinobi still holding his own. 

Ref taking a point away from January in the third for catching a kick and punching at the same time. 

Shinobi way more aggressive now.

Shinobi found his groove in third and final round. With the point deduction, it should be a 10-8 round for Shinobi, which would make it a draw if Shinobi lost the first 2 rounds.

Judges taking forever to tally. Maybe some fuckery happening.

This is by far the best thing I’ve seen on PW.

I don't think I made as big of a deal as I should have, but when the bell rang, Shinobi literally ran across to the other side of the ring to throw a flying kick like it was early UFC. Legendary behavior. 

After that, the first two rounds were relatively even, Shinobi landing low kicks to the body, January landing jabs and occasional hooks off the jab. January was moving Shinobi backwards, so the optics were he was in control, and maybe he was, we'll have to ask Shinobi how he felt. I think Shin was pacing himself, but probably gotta give January those first 2 rounds.

In the 3rd, Shin immediately went out as the aggressor. He was more crouched, stalking January, moving him backwards, and landed a right hand as January was off balance that could have been called a knockdown, but was ruled a slip. It was probably the right call. But still, it could have been called a knockdown.

After that Shin threw another body kick, which January caught, and then punched Shin while he was holding his leg, which is illegal. This was at least the second time he did that, so the ref rightfully took a point away from January.

Shin was then the aggressor for the rest of the third, winning it more convincingly than January won the first two. 

If the knockdown was called, that becomes a 10-7 round and Shin wins a split decision. It seemed like a slip to me, so I'm okay with the draw.

Proud of our boy, though. This was more than a moral victory, Shin fucking belonged. And by the end of the fight, he looked like the better fighter.

Man this thread makes me so happy. That was definitely the last one I felt like such an old man in there. Its crazy how bad my kicks are compared to back in the day, slipping and falling trying to throw my Pat Smith special is so 39 years old 😂😂. Too much emotions going in and I got tired fast. Honestly I peaked two weeks ago and all the training last week was overkill that just run me the fuck down. I felt like true garbage all day yesterday and even worse when I woke up at 11 this morning. Had the headache of a lifetime all the way up to my walkout. Also my fight being so early I had little to no time to warm up. By the third round I started to feel warmed up. That was for sure a knockdown in the third round I got him on the ear and the look in his eyes changed after that. When they stopped it to take a point I feel like it fucked up the momentum I had going. He never came close to knocking me down I dont have a mark on my face little to none of his punches landed clean, felt like I was blocking most of them, never felt like my bell got rung the cleanest shot he landed was the one where he trapped my kick and that landed on my throat not my chin. That last round was good one to go out on I got a baby boy to raise. Thank you guys for watching and showing me love I love yall for real.
