Pretty letdown by Al Michaels that he didn't try and start up Mo Lewis knocking out Drew Bledsoe to get Tom Brady in there when Clemons hit Brissett down and Jacoby was late to get up. EDIT: 3 pages RT. How about 4? We only had 7 last week, we're off to a good start.

If your defence lets Aaron Rodgers run for a first down you should have to forfeit.

I assume Peppers injury has the backup S of NE all out of sorts. Rodgers is just way too good man. I am not used to seeing a QB dialed in like this in ages.
I hate that Rodgers isn't cognitive of the timeclock. he did this 3x vs TEN, drives me nuts. I know he has to diagnosis a lot at the LOS but cmon dude.

I wonder if Drake Maye comes in if NYJ can tack on another score. Just to get him the 4th and get his feet wet. Brissett is getting rocked out there.

Good thing this game is a snoozer because this day belongs to Ohtani. Not for me, this has been a long time coming. A lot of Patriot misery is getting taken out tonight. Ended Belichick's Patriot career with an L to break the streak, now the home curse is coming to an end.

Next week is Sean Payton vs Aaron Rodgers and Hackett I(Rodgers wasn't there to play last year), this is only the beginning. I hope Zach Wilson can make the start there.
Bo Nix will get humiliated at Jetlife if he makes that game.

This is why we drafted Fashanu. He's a natural LT and I hope his run blocking is on par but this is why. Just means Tyron Smith has to stay healthy. What a fucking dagger if this is long term. Morgan Moses is the offensive version of Jermaine Johnson of an all around liked dude.
EDIT: He can stand and walk on it. Let him rest up and enjoy the 10 days. We played a rough 3 game schedule from West Coast MNF to going to TEN on 6 days to a short week vs NE. He deserves it. Whole team deserves it if they hang on and go 2-1.

Hutchinsons sacks are inflated because he just got 4.5 sacks against Tampa. Realistically should’ve been 5 flat, but one teammate decided to jump on as Aidan was already taking him down. Dudes still a stud. After watching Receiver, I learned that Amon Ra is a warrior but an injury week 2 should keep him off the field. It might not since the maniac played with Hand Foot Mouth disease last season and after experiencing that virus, I can honestly say HOW THE FUCK DID HE DO THAT? I couldn’t stand or walk period. He played football. Craziness. As for tonight, Blindy no more excuses. Jets better win by double digits if they want to be taken seriously moving forward. The Jets handled their business.

Honest question. What do you guys actually enjoy about NFL? Maybe I’m just spoilt because I’ve grown up with NRL, and our game is constant go go go, our guys are tough as hell, and it’s straight forward 2, 40 minute halves.
I’ve been watching the game with Ferg, and there has been more stopping to change the plays than actual play and I get the plays come across as Chess in a way, which I always thought was a cool idea but I didn’t realise that they stopped every single time to change the plays. I assumed you had a set of plays, you went out and changed the play as you went. (Obviously the movies lied to me because that’s what I knew NFL from tbh The Replacements is one of my favourite movies).
So just wondering what everyone’s favourite thing about NFL is, what do you enjoy? What other sports do you watch and how does it compare to NFL?

(Obviously the movies lied to me because that’s what I knew NFL from tbh The Replacements is one of my favourite movies). So just wondering what everyone’s favourite thing about NFL is, what do you enjoy? What other sports do you watch and how does it compare to NFL? Yeah the game has a ton of flags and stoppage time but most sports do this to incorporate more commercials/money. Basketball for instance is rough under 2 minutes, feels like every play is under review and each coach uses 30 second timeout burners. There is more uptempo offenses though, especially in 2 minute drills where teams go no huddle and run plays on the run. This game isn't really close to see it but it gets fun when done properly. Also something that has happened lately is the lack of practice time and cohesion mean these early games has a lot of slowdown to have guys digest the game and for them to get their snaps/cardio ready for the long season. A lot of sloppy play happen in some of these early games traditionally since a lot of teams due to injury fear don't want to risk any of the starters to play in the tune ups/preseason games. My Jets for example didn't play anyone sans rookies this preseason so naturally there might be a game of growing pains.

Ready to get my Jets Hawaiian shirt ready for Friday casual work day. Feels good. Late summer and a weekend of stress free football. This is life. I’m blatantly just switching to supporting the Jets after loyally supporting the Giants for….2 weeks. Always 3am games for me so I never see them :lol. I would not wish this upon you my friend. Jets fandom is hell on earth, i've seen a lot of shit happen. We haven't made the playoffs since I was in college. Just trying to look out for your best interest. We usually play the 1PM EST games too but due to Aaron Rodgers, we once again get a lot of primetime games. We got a London 930AM EST game coming in 2 weeks though, I assume that's probably near late night for you guys. DRAKE MAYE sighting.

Will McDonald leading the NFL in sacks. I gotta apologize to Joe Douglas for saying this pick was a reach. Dude just has a knack to get the sacks.
Matt Campbell has been really, really good to us with Breece Hall and him(I think Lazard came under another coach from Iowa State). He turned us down as a HC candidate a few years ago but I bet he wishes he would be our head coach right now. Probably would have taken a shot on Purdy a few drafts ago too.

Hey Blindy ... what QB choices did the Jets have beyond Wilson? They burned years on the kid. Sam Darnold who I am so happy is out of the Adam Gase/Matt Rhule level of hell. NY Jets and Carolina should have ruined him but Kyle Shanahan mighta saved him last year and so far, he's killing it in Minnesota. Christian Hackenburg which we will kindly forget about. Mike McCagnnan's biggest miss, 2nd round pick on him when not even Bill O'Brien wanted him in Houston despite being his coach at Penn State. Awful pick at the time, called by me and awful pick forever. Never got a single snap IIRC and he sucked in the USFL too. Bryce Petty who was a 4th round pick and got a couple of starts here and there but he was pretty much a JAG. Geno Smith who got caught in a tug of war between John Idzik(GM who picked him in round 2) and Rex Ryan(Never liked Geno Smith, it's been open, mutual too) and got sucker punched over not paying up to a defender(IK Enemkpali) and lost his job to Ryan Fitzpatrick. Went to NYG and took down Eli Manning's streak which forever made him and Ben McAdoo enemies in Giants fandom and backed up Rivers in SD before being Russell Wilson's backup....then the rest was history. Mark Sanchez who I liked but he came out early from USC(As Pete Carroll sadly predicted) and Brian Schottenheimer didn't want to let the kid loose until the playoffs where he had no choice. He was learning while on a title contender so it was real trial by fire. Tajh Boyd was a Rex Ryan pick due to his son Seth Ryan's connection in Clemson. He did nothing. If we go farther back, Kellen Clemens should have gotten starts over whatever was left of Brett Favre's body here in NY but Favre had "The Streak" going for him so he'd rather suffer PTSD on the field and flirt with our hot female employees than give up that position. Chad Pennington was my guy too and it was fitting he ended the 08 Jets as a Miami Dolphin. Just snakebitten with health & injuries. Oh and Brad Smith MIZZOU great but he never played QB minus Wildcat formations. Hell of a kick returner and trick play though. Sucks he went to Buffalo and was never heard from again but he got the money.
