Making my way through a re-watch of Grimm, about only five more episodes left.
Also, watching The Good Place on Netflix... I like it so far.

Trying to watch GLOW season 2. Three episodes in, and I can’t remember one mention of pro wrestling at all.
For most people it wouldn’t matter, but for me it does. They had ballet lessons this episode.... no wrestling.

I think season 2 was meant to build more character to the women behind the characters.

Season 2 has plenty of wrestling, especially in comparison to season 3. If pro wrestling is why you’re watching, the show isn’t being made for you.

The wrestling is in maybe two episodes (well they did wrestle in the first episode to show why you won’t see it. They’re putting on the exact same wrestling show every night)

The Righteous Gemstones.
Surprisingly good. The commercials, at least here in Australia, didn't sell it well enough. I went into this thinking, it was another throw-away satire/parody strapped to some shitty gimmick. The gimmick though, is a famous yet dysfunctional family of televangelists. McBride's character is being blackmailed, and he and the family have taken it on their own to solve the mystery. Slightly darker than you'd expect, but still classic McBride.

Watched the final season of Orange is the New Black, eh, show left it's best years back...didn't realize until the final episode how many characters were cut in the final seasons. Not much of an ending.

Finally got through Stranger Things 3, fucking excellent season, almost felt like a series finale, have to see how they match that in the 4th, maybe the best season of the show.

I am still watching the Ranch. Started because of Elisha Cuthbert. Any questions?
Been sticking around because they do such a good job swinging from comedy to feelings and cliff hangers.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee
Easy to digest series, each episode Jerry Seinfeld, picks up another comedian/celebrity in a classic car. They hangout and go and talk about comedy, life, cars, coffee.
Easy.

I'm a few episodes into Undone, a rotoscope (ala Scanner Darkly) animated show about a girl who believes she can bend time and space to solve her father's mysterious death. The show can get extremely trippy and difficult to follow at times, but what grounds it is the family drama. The characters all defined by their flaws and they're constantly trying to overcome their past. Tying it altogether is Bob Odenkirk as the father who's like the dad from Six Feet Under, constantly popping up and encouraging the main protaganist to solve the show's central mystery.
Watch the first two episodes and see what you guys think.

Wu Assassins is a martial-arts focused cooking show about chefs who love to kick ass not only inside of the kitchen. For some reason every single character in this show is both a chef and a kung-fu master. The story is about a guy who is basically Jackie Chan but not as handsome but actually really good at stunts who already kicks a lot of ass and then is infused with mystical wu power so he can...kick slightly more ass than he already did? Everything he has done in the show after obtaining the power he could have already done before hand. It's kind of weird. But he gains this power in order to defeat the evil wu elemental magician gangsters (I'm not even kidding. This is really the plot.)
Anyway, the plot is all over the place so don't expect a fantastic story. But do expect a ton of epic kung-fu badassery...from chefs. The action actually is spot on and I recommend the show to anyone who likes martial arts movies.
The lead actor, Iko Uwais, really knows his shit and you may recognize him from the action-packed badass martial arts films in The Raid series. Or as the bad guy from Stuber. Or as...apparently he was some character named Fee in The Force Awakens? Huh...well anyway, he's a major star in Indonesia where my wife is from so she was really excited to see him in this show. He's really cool, almost as cool as Jackie Chan, and you should watch this.

Third season of True Detective was a nice return to form, while I think Harrelson and McConaughey were the best, maybe a better rounded out season all together.
Also got through Chernobyl, great little mini-series about the disaster, quality performances all around.
Next up, the Leftovers. (Getting through the HBO series I want to watch while I have it)
Unrelated note, Two Sentence Horror Stories on CW is fucking awful.

Band of Brothers.
This time in HD on Blu-Ray. I love this series, and have watched it 100 times on DVD or in SD on Foxtel. It looks, sounds, is, 10x better in HD. I do have a complete new setup at home now since I last binged it.
Fantastic viewing for those who have a slight interest in the war. A universally acclaimed production, there has never been a series to grab me like this show.
Years ago, my introduction to BOB was stumbling across the ‘Why We Fight’ episode and was blown away. I knew of the series prior, but it was always cataloged in the ‘Movies and Television for old men’ section at every store.
It’s a hard 10/10

So I started watching The Office (US version), I’m four episodes in and I’ve only laughed once. Man, I miss when comedy series were actually funny, well that’s not true, there have been a few modern shows that I’ve found funny, but most of them aren't.
At least season three of The Good Place was released on Netflix earlier today.

It’s comedy is in the reactions from Jim and Pam, and others to the absurdity around them. I was a big Office fan for the first handful of years, it gets better. Then I found Jim and Pam really unlikeable characters. Jim especially, he’s the sort of guy that deliberately stays in a situation he doesn’t like, just to whinge about it later to make up for a lack of personality.

OK yeah, maybe not that modern, for some reason I was thinking that it started airing around the same time as Community, Modern Family, and Parks & Recs*, but apparently it started quite a few years before them.
*Though I suppose those shows aren't that modern either, though they are def a lot better than The Office, especially Community and Modern Family.

The Pacific tried to recapture the magic, and did really well, but didn't quite get there overall. I'd rewatch BoB yearly in a binge on Memorial Day if I was better about schedule management.

There’s reportedly a third series in the work, based on the pilots called The Mighty Eighth.

Watched the first two episodes of AHS:1984 last night and I have no conclusions. I mean it's not good , it had potential right from the start but they are making it so fucking convoluted and taking it out of the slasher genre I was expecting that I am pretty annoying. At the same time I kind of want to watch the trainwreck and see what happens and where they take it - perhaps simply because I'm morbid or I'm a completionist.
Also they are hitting the audience way too hard over the head with the corny. It's almost insulting to horror fans which is a real weird play to your main demo.

Season 3 was fantastic, so I'm hyped.
And AHS has been hit or miss since season 4, really, mostly miss. Hotel sucked, Roanoke sucked, Cult was good but the ending was so bad that ultimately it sucked, Apocalypse was just okay at it's best.
